The Seven Qurans Allah Revealed to Muhammad

 Mirza Ghalib

In one of his Urdu TV programs, Dr. Zakir Naik answers the question, asked by the anchor, as to why Islam claims superiority over all other religions. Dr Naik argued that Islam teaches him the right path, to get the correct answer as 2+2=4, whereas the other religions lead one to wrong calculations. In this way, he jokingly entertains the questions from gullible Muslims on his programs. In fact, he and his master Ahmad Deedat have made aware countess Muslims about the supremacist nature of Islam. They didn’t bother to know about their religion before. Thanks to Deedat and Zakir!

7 QURANS IN 23 YEARS, ALL IN ARABIC

1 = 7

It may not be shocking to Muslims, but to non-Muslims, it will be shocking to know that the Quran was revealed to Muhammad in seven different modes – over the incredibly long period of twenty three years – and all the seven Qurans were compiled in book forms only after the death of Muhammad. After nearly 20 years of their compilations, Uthm’an, the third caliph, canonized the Quran into a singular codex out of 7 versions, and ordered the other six versions of the Quran be “BURNED” throughout the Islamic empire. So hundreds of Qurans of the 6 other versions were cremated without ceremony.

Do all Muslims know this fact?

How do Muslims react when they come to know that Allah’s books revealed to guide humankind – not one but six of them and each of them probably as important and “sacred” as the present Quran – were burned to ashes, leaving no trace of them?

EVIDENCE FOR 7 VERSIONS OF THE QURAN

The following ahadith are the evidence that the Quran was allegedly revealed to Muhammad in seven different versions and that it was not in a book form even after the death of Muhammad.

Sahih Al-bukhari Volume 3, Book 41, Number 601:

Narrated ‘Umar bin Al-Khattab: ‘………….When he recited it, Allah’s Apostle said, “It was revealed in this way.” He then asked me to recite it. When I recited it, he said, “It was revealed in this way. The Quran has been revealed in seven different ways, so recite it in the way that is easier for you.”

QURAN WAS NOT IN BOOK FORM

The next hadith is a proof that the Muhammad did not bother to compile his Quran into a book form during his life and not a single one from ‘the great Sahaba’ knew the Quran by heart completely, as today’s many ordinary Muslims do. By compiling the Quran in the book form, Muhammad’s “Rightly guided Caliphs” abrogated Muhammad’s principle.

Sahih Al-Bukhari Vol 6:509:

Narrated by Zaid bin Thaabit:
Umar bin Khattab asked Abu Bakr to collect the Quran from different sources and compile it to a BOOK FORM. Then Abu Bakr replied to him, “How can you do something which Allah’s Messenger did not do?”……..

ALLAH LIES IN HIS QURAN

Whereas, Allah asserts at many instance in His Quran that He revealed the Quran to Muhammad in a BOOK form. Here are the two sample verses from the Quran.

  1. “Recite what is sent of the BOOK by inspiration to thee and establish Regular Prayer. (Quran Al Ankabut 29:45).
  2. “That which We have revealed to thee of the BOOK is the Truth confirming what was revealed before it. (Quran Al Fatir 35:31).

HOLY BURNING OF 6 VERSIONS OF THE HOLY QURAN

The following hadith narrates how Uthman burnt the 6 versions of the Quran allegedly given by Allah. It is very easy in Islam to abrogate Allah’s wish.

Sahih Al-Bukhari volume 6:510:

Narrated by Anas bin Malik: “…Uthman sent to every Muslim province one copy of what they had copied, and ordered that all other Quranic materials, whether written in fragmentary manuscripts or whole copies, be burnt…”

The readers, who are interested to know more references about the seven versions of the Quran may refer to these hadiths: Sahih Al Bukhari  Vol 4:442, Sahih Muslim 1787, Al-Tirmidhi 2215.

So, these hadiths confirm that Allah had revealed the Quran to Muhammad in 7 different modes; no Sahaba knew the Quran completely by heart; the Quran was not in the book form even after the death of Muhammad; and Uthman burnt the remaining 6 versions of the Quran after he, 20 years after the death of Muhammad, compiled a version of his own.

PERSPICUOUS ARABIC OF ALLAH

Allah on the other hand says in His Quran the following:

  1. We have sent it down as an Arabic Qur’an in order that ye may be learn wisdom. (Quran, Sura Yusuf 12:2).
  2. Thus we sent this down an Arabic Quran. (Quran, Sura Ta Ha 20:113).
  3. In the perspicuous Arabic tongue. (Quran, Sura Al Shu’ara 26:195)
  4. It is a Quran in Arabic without any crookedness therein: in order that they may guard against Evil. (Quran, Sura Al Zumar 39:28).
  5. A Book whereof the verses are explained in detail a Quran in Arabic for people who understand. (Quran, Sura Fussilat 41:3).

So, in these verses, Allah says that He revealed the Quran for guiding humanity in Arabic, because Arabic is a perspicuous and the best language for its easy and clear understanding.

If Allah’s Quranic Arabic language is so superior, then why did he borrow too many words from other languages into His Quran, such as Hebrew, Abyssinian, Persian, Syrian, Greek and so on?

Moreover, why did He send His Quran in 7 modes of Arabic language?

If Allah were bothered about the vast part of his creation living in other parts of world, then He would have sent the other 6 versions in their languages too.

How could Allah be so stupid to send seven versions of His Quran in the same language?

His followers are certainly not as stupid to follow His all 7 versions of the Quran. So, they, showing greater commonsense and intelligence, have selected just one Quran for themselves and burned the other 6 versions.

So, Dr. Zakir! 7=1 is what Islam truly teaches? Not quite the right calculations Islam teaches as you claim.

The Quranic inheritance law is another gross mathematical bungle of Allah (see videos). If a Muslim wants to follow the inheritance law mentioned in the Quran, he/she surely will go mad. Once again Muhammad, the author of the Quran – illiterate as he was – proved his idiocy by fabricating such stupid verses.

  1. A very good article!
No doubt shabby will be along soon with some copy-and-paste nonsense.

  2. 6 or 7, it's all toilet paper to me.

  3. Seven kraps That's one for every layer of the atmosphere.

  4. If the Quran is from the WISE ALLAH, then Quran would NOT be THE WORLD'S only SO FOOLISHLY arranged book volumewise beginning from the largest book to the smallest.

Because Arabic language was formed only after the death of Mohammed in 632AD, ARABIC LANGUAGE WAS NON-EXISTING IN THE ERA OF MOHAMMAD.

Quran is not arranged WISELY by alphabetical order OR topical OR chronological OR genealogical BECAUSE THE WRITERS OF THE QURAN were the UNEDUCATED Mohammedans WHO FORMED THE ARABIC LANGUAGE & finalized in 786AD by Al farahidi.

    • Arabic had not yet fully developed script at the time of Muhammad. The Arabic script used now is one borrowed from Nabataen language and the dotting and diactrical mark systems were introduced in Nabataen script to accommodate Arabic sound not available in Nabataen laniguage. All this was done some two centuries after the death of Muhammad. I wonder how an all knowing and wise god could reveal a scripture as a guidance to mankind for all time to come, in a language that had no its own script, paving the way for all sorts of manipulations and alterations.

  5. Allah sent the Quran in Arabic in order to help Arabic language instructors find employment, sort of like Obama's stimulus program.

    • as your name implies you are actually a dog. well you identified one of His reasons, but His purposes are quite more than that and far beyond the comprehension of blockheads like you.

  6. Where is Shabby? Probably he has taken an appointment to have his skull examined by some jewish doctor

  7. I agree with saysjesus. The Quran is the world's most STUPIDLY-arranged book. What a DUMB idea, arranging its chapters in largest-to-smallest order! Only a bunch of stupid, ignorant Arabs could do that.

  8. The cretin moslem got the skull scanned and the jewish doc found a pile of camel dung with worms in the skull.Strangely these worms in the camel dung were shaped like arabic allah! The moron was so pleased seeing allah in camel dung inside his skull, he has gone to perform umrah!

  9. Uthman is only second to Muhammad in the service to Islam and shares a great deal of its absurdities. Islam is chaotic as it is, but would have been more if Uthman had not masterfully canonised one version of the Koran. He did this almost twenty years after Muhammed’s death.

So then, Muslims’ claim that the Koran is not altered or unalterable is an egregious lie. For this claim to considered as true, then Uthman was the final prophet of Islam.

  10. Ah if only we had all the 7 versions of qran. The first thing that would have happened the scum bag moslems following 7 different qrap would have decimated each other! I qrap(n) for each day of the week. Monday qran only nuts would have tried to kill the tuesday qrap nuts and they in turn would have killed wednesday moslem. They will behead the thursday qran nuts and the thursday qran only cretins will smite the necks of friday qran nuts and the friday qran only nuts would burn the saturday qran only nuts,They in turn will take their revenge on sunday qran only nuts and then the fun starts all over again! Ahh what a tragedy! The world would have been a really peaceful and prosperous place with out these imbecile, morons moslems

  11. TO ALL EX-MUSLIMS

YOU ARE EX-MUSLIMS MEANS YOU ARE NOT MUSLIMS

DON'T MISUNDERSTOOD YOURSELF AS EX-GIRLFRIENDS SCOLDING AND CRITICIZING OLD BOYFRIEND THINKING ITS THEIR RIGHTS

    ITS FAITH CORRECT YOURSELF

    WE ACCEPT ALMIGHTY'S WILL

  12. Ok so the start of the article is great, with pure facts of the hadits and all, but the last part, the part of the arabic language and all that, now that my friend, is pure Hypocrite, I mean really, who does that? Blaming on the language? That is just funny

  13. Astaghfirullah……..@kafiroon…u dont deserve to hav a toung…its clear that u dont apretiate and that ul stoop to anythng just so that u can get noticed….may the all mighty guide you if he wills…..

    • Oh right only mohammad deserves the tongue to lik the ayesha's special part? Oh the pleasures of child licking and child thighing. I stoop to any level? I disagree as I can never stoop so low as a moslem, because moslems are silly, idiotic, retarded, child raping, child screwing, imbeciles with no brains.

      • Yes you are such silly, idiotic, retarded, child raping, child screwing, imbeciles like your brothers and ancestors the so called us army who commits sodomy, gay, homosexual etc

  14. # Whereas, Allah asserts at many instance in His Quran that He revealed the Quran to Muhammad in a BOOK form.

(HOLY QURAN 35:31) (O Prophet), the Book We have revealed to you is the Truth, confirming the Books that came before it. Verily Allah is well aware of His servants and sees everything.

I THINK MIRZA EITHER A MISUNDERSTOOD OR MAKING PEOPLE TO MISUNDERSTANDING THE QURANIC VERSES.HERE ALLHA SAYS ABOUT THE VERSES OF QURAN, NOT A BOOK LIKE 'GUINNESS RECORD' AND 'HARRY POTTER'.HOW CAN WE UNDERSTAND THE VERSES OF QURAN?
ITS THE OPINION OF PROPHETS AND SWAHABI'S ,THEY UNDERSTAND THE THE ABOVE VERSES THE VERSES OF ALLHA,IN ISLAMIC HISTORY THE BOOK REFEREED TO A KALAM OF ALLHA (VERSES OF ALLHA)

  15. WHY QURAAN IN ARABIC LANGUAGE?
    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KBj227G7MNk

The language of Quran is unique. I aim to show that this language has several characteristics, which makes it an ideal medium for such a communication.

In any language the number and construction of its root words are extremely important as they form the basis of communication and expression. With that consideration, take a look at this language. The structure of its root is thoroughly mathematical.

Each pair of the 28 letters of Arabic, in whatever order combined, is potentially capable of giving a root word, provided that in case of a verb the second letter is doubled. A biliteral or a uniliteral verb is unknown to this language.

Then each trio of letters in whatever order combined, is again capable of giving a root word. The number of words thus formed by permutation and combination amount to thousands. Out of these, some combinations are yet to be utilized, but the number of actual roots in use, are not less than 25000.

Now each one of these twenty five thousand roots is further capable of yielding a further crop of words by a small variation of vowel points. Thus the language acquires immense capabilities of exact expressions.

Other languages having much smaller number of root words, need the help of prefixes and suffixes. For example, ancient Sanskrit, although richer than other Aryan languages, contains only about two thousand roots, which have to receive aid from 25 prefixes and 200 suffixes. The language of Message, on the other hand, neither uses prefixes nor suffixes. And because of such large number of roots available, its vocabulary meets with every human requirement with its inexhaustible treasure of simple words.”

Combination of letters in its roots is also peculiar. When similar letters are combined, they denote generally different shades of meaning of the same idea. They are similar in sound? Take Khafar – it means to escort or safe conduct, or ghafar – to cover or veil, and kafar – to cover or conceal. This peculiarity makes the language extremely rich in synonyms and rhymes, increasing the beauty and harmony of expression. Based on this characteristic of language, philologists have divided its roots into families and clans, an exercise that has often helped in the quest for origin of words.

Clan organisation is visible here also and it has its advantages. When a foreign word is traced to this language, and is found to be a fugitive member of a family or clan of words, while none such family of words exist in that particular foreign language, then it shows clearly that the word had migrated originally from this very language.

Third outstanding feature of this language, which is also important in relation to a coded message is that, 90% of its roots contain three letters only. These ‘triliterals’ are economical, and easy to hear, remember, and pronounce.

Languages like Hebrew also has a lot of triliterals, but why do we say that they are not economical? The reason is, in Arabic, for different shades of meaning, distinct simple words are available. That is why when you want to translate a triliteral word of this language into a different language, it results in either long words or complete sentences. Take the word Za’l. It means ‘to produce weak bodied children on account of marriage between near relatives from the paternal and maternal side’. Or take Lamaz, which means ‘to wipe one’s lips with the tongue’.

Fourth advantage of this language is that the same root supplies the various human requirements connected with it. This characteristic has helped it to keep pace with the developing needs of the society. Take an example.

laban is milk, while malban is milk vessel. malainat is milk spoon. labaan is breast,

and lab’an means to have udders filled with milk. Then labain is fed on milk, while laa’ban is much milk giving. labnah is cream cheese, and so on and on. Now do you see, how the auxiliary requirements have been supplied by the same triliteral root?”

Pronunciation is very important here. And this brings to the fifth advantage of this language. A very important one that has helped the Message remain free from distortion. Philologists have isolated twenty one diseases in relation with the spellings of words, often found present in scripts of various languages. In this language, its two characteristics, presence of 90% three lettered words and fixed number of letters in a word, has not let any of these diseases enter into its spellings.

Well, take English, the language in which we are communicating today. It is because of these diseases that Americans are working to improve its script, although problems still remain. One such problem is the case of silent or surplus letters, such as ‘s’ in the island or ‘l’ in the word stalk. In the language of Message, introduction, addition or subtraction of such letters are not possible in the three lettered words that form its majority.

  16. Sixth point also pertains to spelling of the word. The order in which the letters are combined is also sure and definite. If the order of letters is changed, it gives quite different roots. Take for example the word lafah. If we rotate these words they become, falah, hafal, lahaf, fahal, halaf, etc.

Such group of words shows an additional seventh subtle advantage of this language. Alphabets in some triliterals can be rotated so as to give different shades of meaning to the same idea. This aspect of its roots completely insures them against metathesis… Then eighth point is that like the number and order of letters, the accent of a letter is also perfectly fixed. Slightest change of accent yields a different root, such as, falakh, falagh, falaq, or falak.

Due to contact with aliens or geographic influence, a difference of accent in the colloquial speech of a region usually enters but this does not detract from the permanency of spellings of its words. In such a case, the language of Hejaz, is the standard language which can always correct a wrong accent. Take the word ‘kharsh’, it means to scratch. In Sanskrit it becomes Aggrish and in Hindi: khurach-na. In Persian, it becomes kharashi-dan, while in Greek: Xrasso. The Italian: Crucci-are and French: Courrouc-er meaning to irritate are the changed version of kharsh. Then Russian Krosh-ka which means crumb or a scratched portion, English: scratch and Spanish:Rasca-dura, which represents a metathesis of this word. All these words show that Kharsh has become a changeling according to different local accents. But, in this language it must always remain a triliteral composed of three alphabets khe, re and sheen. The slightest change of accent will give it a different root, such as qarsh, kars, ghars, qars etc.

The ninth peculiarity of this language, also pertains to the use of alphabets. Some alphabets are stronger in comparison with others. Such as ‘Ain’ is stronger than ‘alif’. Using stronger word the action also becomes strong. Such as Saar means to walk, but if we use the alphabet ‘ain’, changing the word to Sar’aa , the meaning changes. It means walking quickly. And if we convert it to sa’aar, then the meaning will further change and would imply running.

Then tenth advantage of this language is that, it is also highly picturesque. Here a verb is often linked up with a noun to denote verbal action. Thus, the action along with the actor presents a vivid picture before the mental eye and the meaning gets fully expressed. For example, take ‘kashd’. It means ‘to cut a thing with teeth’. This word is a picture of a specific action. Similarly, take merse which means to soak a thing in water. I think it is more eloquent than immerse which is based on it.

Eleventh point is a slight variation of this quality. In this language, often the physical gets moulded into moral, in a subtle pictorial way. The Message has utilised this peculiarity very effectively. Yes. Take the word karb. This word actually means to load, but it also signifies distress and grief, when the load is of troubles.

Then twelfth advantage is that the verb often endows the noun its quality, so that the resulting noun denotes its reason and philosophy. Apart from Sanskrit which also provides the philosophy of word sometimes, it is an exclusive virtue of this language.

Take jan, it means to cover, to conceal. This verb has endowed several derivative nouns with the quality of covering and concealing, such as, janat. Or janan. Or janain etc.

An embryo in a uterus emerged..

    • Gabriella K. Rantau

Funny that you mentioned 'jan' , the holy Qur'an gets it very wrong when it relates the development of human embryo. You might recall, it states about a stage when all of the skeleton has been formed but that it has not been wrapped with flesh and skin. How 'scientific'!

      Jibril

  17. The Message has not given any categorical statement on this subject. I think that the basic structure was a gift, and rest of vocabulary developed with time.

My fourteenth point pertains to the amazing endurance of this language over one and a half millennia. It is a fact of history that no other language of the world, spoken at that time, has managed to survive this term. And it is also an unwritten rule of history that only five centuries are enough, to change a language so radically so as to make the works of distant predecessors almost incomprehensible to average readers. And yet this language has not only retained its comprehensibility, it has also flourished tremendously. The development in wording and style has not been to such an extent that the words should loose their original meanings.

HOW THE MESSAGE USED THIS LANGUAGE

My fifteenth and last point on this topic pertains to the way the Sender Intelligence has deployed this language for its peculiar enigmatic purpose. How He has used this medium like a delicate, finely tuned, deep toned instrument, and how He has played a tune on this instrument of immense complexity and simplicity, stretching it to its utmost range and capability. A man unfamiliar with the nuances of this language, can never understand, appreciate or comprehend, the multitude of techniques that has been utilised by the Message to put its contents across to humanity.

Here the case is much more complex. A literary piece in any language, usually employs, one, two, or a maximum of three, different techniques in a composition, but, in the ‘text of Message’, a study has isolated a minimum usage of 32 different techniques.

Yes, but I will not bore you with the elaboration of these multiple techniques. I only want to present here, five features, which are related to my hypothesis.

FIRST, researchers have isolated thousands of words that appear to have been put at their particular place with so much care, thought and design that any exchange of synonymous words could result in considerable loss of impact and import of that sentence.

SECOND, an underlying harmony seems to exist in the employment of alphabets, particularly in chapters that begin with either a single alphabet, or a set of alphabets, known as Harf Muqattat or abbreviated letters.

    A.L.M.

God! There is no god but He, – the Living, the Self Subsisting, the Supporter of all..

Interestingly enough, the purpose of these abbreviated letters is shrouded in mystery, as no one knows their real meaning.

THIRD, an internal phonetic harmony also exists throughout the text, which is dependent upon the utilisation of alphabets, choice of words and its proper phonetic interpretation. And it comes through more clearly, when the text is recited in its musical form, called Qirat.

“FOURTH, the text of Message has a unique format. It is neither prose nor poetry. The later verses, laying down moral and legal codes have utilised the prose format, but the early revelations had a lyrical and mystical quality, endowed with extreme beauty and power.

So I do call to witness the ruddy glow of Sunset; [84:16]

The Night and its Homing; [84:16]

And the moon in her fullness: [84:16]

Ye shall surely travel from stage to stage. [84:16]

What then is the matter with them, that they believe not?- [84:16]

FIFTH, the Message has used the technique of imagery to its fullest. It has brought us a world, where images dance and move with life, and abstract things acquire physical forms. In fact, in an age when audio visual help was not available, the Message converted its statements into strong audio visual signals, with some special use of this language.

I can understand your reservations, but, I will try to explain what I mean by this conversion of language into an audio visual signal. Take a particular assertion of Message as a sample. Here Creator has stated.

  18. Now, reach back into the past. Fifteen hundred years ago, there were no recorders, synthesisers, special effects machines, stock sounds, or fancy studios. So, the Creator employed the only thing available at the time, the language itself, to introduce these ‘special effects’. And to achieve the desired effect, it resorted to a peculiarity of this language, which permits the usage of a word together with its synonym, side by side. Such an application, in this language, increases the strength of word tremendously…”

“Pairs!” It is really difficult to explain. “When we analyse this verse, we find, that out of eight words, only three words represent life, death and journeying, while rest of the five words are all simply synonyms of ‘We..We..We..We..and We’ reinforcing each other, increasing the strength of word to gigantic proportions, creating an aura of thunder, lightening, vastness of space and tremendous echo of an extremely awesome voice, overpowering the senses.”

That is why when fifteen centuries ago, an unlearned forty year old man, who had never preached in public, had never composed a poetry or even a speech, suddenly started revealing verses that were the ultimate in complexity of composition and contents, the idolaters of Mecca who were the first listeners, became baffled and found themselves unable to categorise these utterances. They called these verses magic. And the accusation acquired more intensity and strength as the verses began gripping and bending the minds of people, altering their loyalties against strong tribal and family ties, and challenging the allegiance to old order. The threatened society tried to persecute the reciters, forbid and cajole the others not to listen to these verses and when nothing worked they simply tried to create clamour wherever they heard the recitation in progress.

The unbelievers say:” Listen not this Quran,

But talk at random in the midst of its (reading),

That ye may gain the upper hand!” [41: 26]

    • 41:26 "And those who disbelieve say, "Do not listen to this Qur'an and speak noisily during [the recitation of] it that perhaps you will overcome."

False quotation. Other than that, your argument is welcomed and taken into my consideration.
      Still an exmuslim though.

  19. No salvation in islam, coran is useless and not from God.

  20. hey bhagwan mujhe shakti do apne maine jo kaha maine kah diya

  21. Shabeer, this once I try to read ur post, but I find it sleepy and boring at after >9th post.
And then I can’t find your point. And then I can’t remember what I read before.

Shabeer, please sometime use short and clear post.
If u think ur copy-paste can make people change opinion about Islam, now I tell U, ur post just boring and sleepy.

But now I have new opinion. Muslim, like other Islamic country, is just can Copy- paste kaffir technology. Because they can’t innovate enough on their own. Television, internet, airplane, stock market, oil harvesting. Etc. Muslim just can Copy-Paste thing. U just proof it, Shabeer.

Come on, Shabeer, its time u innovate ur own opinion..(If u can)

  22. Caliph Uthman burned and trashed different Qurans in a failed attempt to standardize nonsense (Quran). Abul Qasim's other gang members and Caliph Umar said Muhammad was also forgetful and negligent. In that the pagan Islamic God and Muhammad left out important features of the Islamic Inheritance laws. Maybe the contradictions, disparities and unknowns of Quran could be explained if these other version / modes were available

Sahih Bukhari Volume 7, Book 69, Number 493: Narrated Ibn 'Umar: 'Umar delivered a sermon on the pulpit of Allah's Apostle, saying, "Alcoholic drinks were prohibited by divine order, and these drinks used to be prepared from five things grapes, dates, wheat, barley and honey. Alcoholic drink is that, that disturbs the mind." 'Umar added, "I wish Allah's Apostle had not left us before he had given us definite verdicts concerning three matters, 1- How much a grandfather may inherit (of his grandson), 2- The inheritance of Al-Kalala ( heirs with no living father or son), and 3-Various types of Riba (usury) ."

Islam the final answer is clueless, too bad Muhammad was classed as the final Arab Prophet, now we will never have any sensible answers from Islam or the Arab Deity.

Maybe what Umar was looking for (1- How much a grandfather may inherit (of his grandson), 2- The inheritance of Al-Kalala (heirs with no living father or son), and 3-Various types of Riba (usury) .") was destroyed in those other versions / modes of Quran that were lost, only the Pagan Islamic God knows for sure.

  25. The Noble Quran was revealed in one language and that is Arabic. It has only one original Arabic copy. Arabic 1400 years ago had 7 dialects. There exists today one original copy of the Noble in Saudi Arabia today. A copy of this original copy also exists in Turkey today as well.

When the Noble Quran was revealed to Prophet Muhammad peace be upon him, it was revealed in Arabic, and in the Quraishi dialect. The Quraishi dialect is the most proper Arabic dialect that properly uses the Arabic words without altering their sound.

The Quraishi dialect was the most popular dialect in the Middle East at that time, and is today the dialect used among Arabs who speak Proper Arabic. The dialect that books teach at schools is also a Quraishi dialect today.

Back in the Middle East 1400 years ago, the Quraishi dialect was not the only one used among Arabs. There existed 6 other dialects along with it, but as I said, it was the most popular.

It is very important in the Islamic faith that when we recite the Noble Quran, we recite it in the Quraishi dialect or what we call today in the proper Arabic. We can't pronounce for instance "th" as "sa" or "za". We can't pronounce "la" as "laman". We can't pronounce "ja" and "ga", etc…

There are no variances or missing parts in the Noble Quran. These are all false and baseless assumptions by some anti-Islamics. The Arabic dialects had problems with each others, and that's why standardizing the Noble Quran with its original Quraishi dialect was essential to keeping it as a perfect Holy Book: For instance, take the letter "j". Did you know that some Arabs don't pronounce the "j"? They always pronounce it as "g" or "ga".

Take "the" as another example. Some Arabs also don't pronounce "the". They pronounce it as "za".

Another example, and this is an important one in my opinion, is that some Arabs used to have a dialect which originated from Yemen, where they would add "an" at the end of a noun. Take for instance the popular word of today "Taliban", as in the Taliban in Afghanistan. "Taliban" is the same as the Arabic word "Talib" which means "Student".

The Afghans today used the old Arabic dialect from Yemen which dates even older than 1400 years ago when the Noble Quran was revealed. Back then in Yemen, as I said, they used to add the word "an" for nouns. So if they for instance wanted to refer to a stone "sakhr (in Arabic)", then they would refer to it as "sakhran", even though it would be written in Arabic as "sakhr".

In Islam, properly reciting the Words of Allah Almighty is the way it must be practiced. Otherwise, it would be considered a sin and disrespect toward Allah Almighty and the individual would be disobeying Allah Almighty and would gain bad deeds that will count against him in the Day of Judgment if he did it intentionally. http://www.answering-christianity.com/quran/quran… http://www.islamic-awareness.org/Quran/Text/

  26. 6 or 7 who cares? Even 1 is posing a dangerous situation in the world. May be, if only that Caliph Uthman knew of the ancient Indian wisdom of ZERO – that would have been a great service to humanity. Unfortunately zero remained in India for too long – it could not reach Uthman on time. So, the minimum number he knew was one. Unfortunate. LOL

  27. ahahaha, Arabic knew nothing about zero and had to borrow (steal) that from Indian wisdom.

Even today Arabic has no lower case letters and does not have an "O" character. That "O o" has to be added when Arabic is translated into other languages.

    • They also have no "v" or "p" sounds! What a thought! That the "chosen language" would not consist of such basic phonetics! HAH my foot is the koran's resting place!

  28. That is really interesting, You are an overly skilled blogger. I have joined your feed and look forward to searching for extra of your excellent post. Additionally, I have shared your website in my social networks

  29. Here are two links for all of you to understand and clear your doubts before criticizing Islam..

First link tells about how the Quran is preserved if Hazrat Usman ( RadiAllahhu an) ordered the burning of the copies of the Quran in his caliphate by Ahmed Deedat:

And the second link tells about why was Quran revealed in Arabic by your favorite Dr.Zakir Naik.

  30. That's one koran for every heaven Muzzies will never get.

  31. I'm studying this topic, I"m Christian, and a good Muslim friend of mine is helping me as only he knows how. I'm here to ask a few questions.

I'll keep it simple and short. WHY would a man burn SIX other DIALECTS of a HOLY WRITING that ALLAH supposedly chose to give it? I have to ask myself, who in the hell does he think he is to overwrite what Allah had chosen to do?

Another thing that pops in my head is this quote on another muslim website (don't remember which, I've been to so many) that quotes the Koran saying, "the Koran was given in 7 different dialects to the 7 tribes"

and yet, one man, decided that these other tribes didn't need to "understand" the Koran. I'm assuming the reason it was given in the different dialects wasn't to be colorful, but for necessity. The question is, WHY did this dude do this?

And it's a question that NEEDS answering, or as far as I'm concerned, the Koran is VERY incomplete.

Another quote I saw at the above unmentioned website from the Koran was, "use whatever you can from the koran. Where it says do, do, where it says don't, don't, where it is ambiguous, TRUST"

What IS that? How can one trust ambiguity? Trust in what you do not know my son, trust in what you cannot understand. It just goes against the wisdom the flawed Christian Bible has taught me. And if this Muhammad was the dude that Christ prophesied coming to "lead us into all truth" uhhhh, hello? Ambiguity is not truth. We have more unknowns with the Koran than we ever had in the Bible as far as theology is concerned, not to mention, they seem to do away with traditions that God said would continue till the end for various ppls.

On the topic of SIN OFFERING. The Old Testament is FULL of the what when why how of SIN OFFERING. And sin always had to be atoned with blood. And now, all of a sudden, it isn't necessary. The Koran seems to be silent (I'm not positive) about what in the world God was doing with all this atonement and sacrificing and the necessity of blood to atone for sin. And when you talk about it, they just go, "it makes no sense to think that blood could pay for sin, it makes no sense that an animals blood should cover my sin, it makes no sense that the sacrifice of ONE man would cover the sins of the world"

But it makes a lot of sense if they'd listen. But I told him, if God says take an unblemished whatever and slay it and give the blood to the priest and he'll pour it over the whatever to cover your sins… WHO would say to this REPEATEDLY RECORDED act "that makes no sense, why would God ask that?"

Sure the Bible has variances, but you can't variance out the entire book of Leviticus where this was done over and over and over and recorded.

  32. It seems to me we need to determine how VARYING these dialects in the language are and how that affects it's meaning. We already know how if you rearrange words in a sentence even a little, it changes the meaning entirely.

  33. It's talking about methods of reciting. I actually learned about this fairly recently – across the Arab world there are different methods of reciting the same words. For instance, you prolong this vowel, you shorten this vowel, et cetera.

  34. Shabeer, you need to be critical – if something is the truth, it won't break down when you are being critical towards it. If you had provided references it would be more helpful to figure out whether or not you just made up your answer, but I don't think it was about dialects. I'm 99% certain that it is about reading styles, since that is what I learned. Here is some information about that.

I find it suspicious that people who have claimed to study Islam don't know this. If you want to think that you have defeated Islamic ideology, you should know more about it than a Muslim does.

  35. all of you seem to be discussing irrelevant things , looks at the world around us and the many problems that we have due to people doing what they want and how they want it , islam was found to give people an ordered way of living , and human can prosper as a results

i am not going to include details , possibly most of you have better argument techniques , all i can say ask yourselves what mohammad would have gained out of that , most people who form a cult, are in seek for power, wealth etc , he lived poor and died poor , he only wanted people to follow this religion, for people own sake , not for any personal gains , plus if most of you are anti religious, why some of you becomes Christian or Jewish. why are you so certain that isalm is not a religion of god while the rest are ?

wake up people try to think laterally do not be closed minded, before it is too late , only after death you will know the truth and it will be too late , our life is too short to waste it with indulgence in pleasures and involve ourselves in endless conflicts
