Apostates of Islam: Ignored and Persecuted even in the West

Guess who are the most persecuted people in the world today? It is the apostates of Islam. Not only they face certain death in Islamic countries, they are often ignored in western countries.
The following story is one of many that show how apostates are denied their human rights. Islam has penetrated in the west and the apostates have nowhere to turn.
This is troubling on two accounts. The first is that the apostates are in great danger. This is a human tragedy. The other is that they are the only real solution to the Islamic problem. There are those who claim the solution to radical Islam is moderate Islam. They lie. Moderate Islam is only a deception. Although there are many Muslims who are moderate, there is no such a thing as moderate Islam. Moderate Islam means less Islam. Yes poison does not kill in small doses, but it is still poison. Ignoring apostates is a political tragedy.
It is they who need recognition, protection and support. But they are ignored. The apostasy from Islam is the elephant in the room. They are politically incorrect. Their recognition offends Muslims and that is a line no one wants to cross. So the media of both Left and Right, promotes the lie that the solution to radical Islam is the mythological moderate Islam.
The danger is that if the western countries allow Muslims to dictate their policies in regards to human rights of ex-Muslims, in no time they too will lose their own freedom.
The following is a plea by an apostate of Islam who is imprisoned in UK waiting to be deported back to Bangladesh where he will face a certain death. Please email the Prime Minister’s Office and ask him to uphold the human rights of this couple and make sure injustices like this are not repeated. This couple’s life is in real danger.
It was despicable for the government of Malaysia to deport the Saudi young journalist Hamza Kashgari back to his country where he would be most certainly tortured and perhaps killed. How more despicable would it be when the Government of the United Kingdom becomes accomplice of such crime?

Let me start by saying I am a big fan of yours. You are a big le model for me. What you have started we will continue the legacy.
When I first got to know your site I was fuming with rage and threw obscenities at you. But as I read through I had no doubt in my mind that you were logical. You have changed my life.

I am now an apostate. An Ex-Muslim who has renounced Islam publicly. I have declared war against the evil political ideology named Islam. For doing so, I am on the verge of committing suicide.
I was born in Bangladesh in a devout Muslim family. I was brought up with strictest Islamic principles. Never in my 30 years of practice I missed a Friday Jum’a prayer. I came to UK in 2007. I got to know you and your great creation faithfreedom.org in Dec 2010. By January I was freed from the shackles of slavery of Islam. After reading Understanding Muhammad my wife has also renounced Islam. We were struck with fury from our families, friends and acquaintances. My father in law’s family instantly ordered death of myself and my wife as we brought massive dishonor to their family. For us their social standing is ruined and they will never go to heaven as we have turned to be apostates. I could never make them understand that Islam is an evil ideology. The more I tried to enlighten them, the more violent they became. I lost all my families, friends and community. Bangladesh turned out to be a living hell for me. As you know Bangladesh is the country with 3rd largest Muslim population in the world. We are ordained to death in Bangladesh.
As situation turned so nasty we had to claim asylum in the UK. To my turn of bad luck the asylum screening interviewing officer turned out to be a devout Muslim woman from Sierra Leone. The moment she found out that I am an active ex-Muslim she got me detained. Based on her report my asylum application was refused.
Now I am imprisoned at a place called Yarl’s Wood, Bedfordshire MK44 1FD – this is probably the UK version of Guantanamo Bay. I never knew these types of facilities existed. It is maintained by a private company named Serco and they treat us like “Figures” and not human beings. They do not conduct any physical torture, but the mental torture is intense.
UKBA do not recognize the threats of life of ex-Muslims. They consider non-Muslims and ex-Muslims as same types which is very wrong.
I would like to ask you for a big help. I would ask this favor from my ex-Muslims brothers who suffer same persecution. I hope you will post my pledge in your website.
I would also request you to kindly give me a testimonial explaining how, I, as an ex-Muslim would suffer severe persecution returning to a land of 150 million devout Muslims. Your expert opinion would greatly help my appeal. Going back to Bangladesh is not an option for us anymore as we will be tortured and killed upon return.
I would greatly appreciate your kind attention to my cause.

Yes you have too many immigrants and many of them are problem, but not the apostates. We don't cause problem for our host countries. We are your first line of defense. We are the ones who sounded the whistle before anyone else did and said stop the immigration from Islamic countries. These Muslims will destroy your country and will reduce you into slaves. Why would an overstayer be "improsoned" as the man put it. Something doesnt sound right. I am very skeptical about this case.
Anyway it is about time that the UNHCR recognises that Apostacy is punished by DEATH in Muslim countries. Even where Muslims are minority(like in India) there are vigilante groups who take law into their own hands and have apostates killed. They will at the very least try to make life as miserable as possible for the apostate to discourage anyone following suit.
The UN should consider the ground realities and make it easy for ex-muslim refugees to enter Europe and seek asylum there.

There was a news article on the BBC recently about a (mainly Muslikm) area in London where (almost) every house has an illegally built "shed" (read shanty) in its back garden housing illegal immigrants.
Sadly, UK law requires building enforcement officers to give 48 hours notice of an inspection – so the illegals disappear every time.
Shagar is an asylim seeker. When the Muslim in charge of his case rejected it (due to his being an apostate – no matter what the grounds she wrote down were) he was detained to prevent him just disappearing into the black economy.
It's sad that we have to do this, but far, far too many take advantage of the UK – National health service etc – and lie egregiously so to do, that we have to be somewhat "heavy handed" in attempting to control the ingress.
Sadly (again) the system is still open to abuse – particularly by those officials who also have an axe to grind in the opposite direction.
On the one hand I can see how a system t offer asylum to ex-muslims can easily be exploited. THere are enough desperate people in Asian and African countries who will do just about anything to get into the West. On the other and, implementing such a system would invoke criticism from the muslim world who will accuse the West of conspiring against the muslims in putting Islam in the spotlight. They will cry Islamophobia. Not that we should care about it, but it would take a politically incorrect leadership to implement laws of this nature. And going by the recent trend in Europe, unfortunately, many more catacysmic events of Islamic nature will have to unfold in Europe before a good number of politicians start sounding like Geert Widers.
What happened with british englishmen? We must protect apostates from bloodthirsty braindead muslims at all cost for they are the one who reveal the true face of Islam and consistently struggling to get rid of that cult. So as you can see, the punishment of apostasy in Christianity is DEATH, and not only that, the one who tries to convert you is also to be put the death!!!! Note even whole cities are to be destroyed!!!!
So Christians are the last one to talk about the punishment of apostasy, since the punishment for apostasy according to the Bible is DEATH.
What will Christians now say? Will they come up with the typical lie they always say when put in a hole that 'oh no we don’t have to follow the OT anymore'. That has become quite a famous line now, anyways, I would like the Christian to show me where this rule has been abrogated or told to not be followed. I have not seen it in the NT.
Secondly, note the ending of the verse, it says KEPP ALL HIS COMMANDMENTS, which also include this command to kill apostates and those who try to convert you. Let us read what Jesus said in the NT:
Luke 10:
18. A certain ruler asked him, "Good teacher, what must I do to inherit eternal life?"
19. "Why do you call me good?" Jesus answered. "No one is good–except God alone.
20. You know the commandments: 'Do not commit adultery, do not murder, do not steal, do not give false testimony, honor your father and mother.' "
21. "All these I have kept since I was a boy," he said.
22. When Jesus heard this, he said to him, "You still lack one thing. Sell everything you have and give to the poor, and you will have treasure in heaven. Then come, follow me."
So as Jesus himself said, you know the commandments don’t you? Yes, you do, so as Jesus said follow them. And what do we read at the end of Deuteronomy 13:
18 When thou shalt hearken to the voice of the LORD thy God, to keep all his commandments which I command thee this day, to do that which is right in the eyes of the LORD thy God
So it says keep the commandments, which included killing apostates and those who try to convert you, what did Jesus say? Keep the commandments, ALL OF THEM. Which includes this law of apostasy.
So Christians are the LAST to be talking about freedom to convert. This is just a typical missionary tactic, which is becoming very common now, this also shows how pathetic Christian missionaries really are, and it does show how pathetic some Christian people are also, since they always come preaching how bad Islam is and how Christianity grants freedom for all, obviously they talk from ignorance since most Christians have never even read their own Bible. I am not trying to be offensive in saying that, but it is true, Christians should start reading their own Bible, and read the filth found in it, when you tell a Christian that Judah had sex with his daughter in law and that Jesus comes from this lineage, they call you a liar and a pervert which shows how little they know about their own Bible.

Dear Mr shabeer, not many Muslims dare to read the Torah or the Bible because Muhammad decreed that they are corrupted text and only his Quran is infallible. So, I'm really glad to know a Muslim like you who did not follow the crowd and did otherwise. When you read the book of Deuteronomy or any particular book in the OT, you must understand the context and historical background of the book. Please note that the book of Deuteronomy is the words Moses spoke to all Israel in the wilderness east of the Jordan and please note that the Israelites were living under the old covenant which our loving Creator God has established with them and the thus, we have this book of laws and the Israelites have to abide by the laws then. But our loving Creator God has promised them a Messiah, our beloved Lord Jesus Christ, a new covenant which He has established with us through His shed blood which means that we are no longer live under or bound by the old covenant or the OT laws.
So, Mr shabeer, you ought to know that we are all now living under God's new covenant, and it is important for you to know these verses:
John 1:17 For the law was given through Moses; grace and truth came through Jesus Christ.
John 14:6 Jesus answered, “I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.
Matthew 22:37-40 Jesus replied: “‘Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind. This is the first and greatest commandment.And the second is like it: ‘Love your neighbor as yourself.’ All the Law and the Prophets hang on these two commandments.”

Dear Mr shabeer, let me introduce to you my beloved Lord Jesus Christ, Who is more than a prophet! He is the Holy Lamb of God Who offered His life as a ransom for the salvation of our souls. Don't you think that He is more noble than any prophets or human beings you could ever find on planet earth? As what I explained in my earlier comments, that the laws of Moses were given to the Israelites while they were living in the wilderness and they were living under the old covenant which our loving Creator God has established with their forefathers. So, that's the reason why the Israelities have to keep and obey all the laws of Moses then. But God did promise the Israelites a Messiah as prophecised by the prophet Isaiah through Whom God will establish an everlasting love covenant with all human beings through the shedding of His blood.
So, that's the reason why we have to observe all the terms and conditions of this new covenant which our loving Creator God has established with us through the shed blood of Jesus. This means that we are no longer bound by the old covenant and its terms and conditions but yet, it serves as a reference and guidance for us to live a holy life.
Let me explain further by giving you an example, so that you may have a better understanding. Let's say that you're a buisnessman and you signed a contract with a big firm, to offer in-house seminars and training programmes to all the managerial staffs in that big firm. The contract itself will include many clauses, terms and conditions and also, the contract period which you are liable to adhere to and the penalty or fine are also listed out clearly when you failed to deliver the agreed services or when you ended the contract abruptly before the contract period end.
But being a popular speaker, your client is so pleased with the overall performance of all the managerial staff after they have attended your seminars and training programmes that the big boss of this gigantic firm had a meeting with you in his office to discuss if you agree to accept his offer for a better contract which guarantee you a lifetime of handsome profits till you die. So, after much considerations, you agreed to accept his proposal. This means that the first contract is no longer valid and you are no longer bound by its terms and conditions since both you and the big boss have signed the second contract which supercedes the first one and which is a much better contract.

37 “Then the righteous will answer him, ‘Lord, when did we see you hungry and feed you, or thirsty and give you something to drink? 38 When did we see you a stranger and invite you in, or needing clothes and clothe you? 39 When did we see you sick or in prison and go to visit you?’ 40 “The King will reply, ‘Truly I tell you, whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers and sisters of mine, you did for me.’
41 “Then he will say to those on his left, ‘Depart from me, you who are cursed, into the eternal fire prepared for the devil and his angels. 42 For I was hungry and you gave me nothing to eat, I was thirsty and you gave me nothing to drink, 43 I was a stranger and you did not invite me in, I needed clothes and you did not clothe me, I was sick and in prison and you did not look after me.’ 44 “They also will answer, ‘Lord, when did we see you hungry or thirsty or a stranger or needing clothes or sick or in prison, and did not help you?’ 45 “He will reply, ‘Truly I tell you, whatever you did not do for one of the least of these, you did not do for me.’
This is all due to the PC brigades in the secular democracies.

I've watched a couple of dvds today, watched 'My Week With Maraliyn' Kenneth Branagh was brilliant in that and so was Judi Dench, and it was a real pleasure to see Derek Jacobi turn up as the librarian. The absolute freedom of religion in Islam:
Some group of Muslims believe in killing apostates because they follow a Hadith (Saying) from Prophet Mohammed peace be upon him regarding the apostates. While Islam was weak and still growing among Jews, Christians and Pagans, Muslims did not have the full and complete religion that they needed. Some Jews and Christians wanted to take advantage of such situation to destroy Islam. They had a plan to adopt Islam first and then desert it, thus creating the impression that Islam was not a religion worth adopting.
Let us look at Noble Verse 3:72 "A section of the People of the Book (Jews and Christians) say: Believe in the morning what is revealed to the believers (Muslims), but reject it at the end of the day; perchance they may (themselves) turn back (from Islam)." To protect Islam from such Satanic attempts done by a group of the people of the book (Jews and Christians), Prophet Mohammed peace be upon him ordered the death of those who enter Islam and leave it. This temporary law that was put by our Prophet had stopped the hypocrites from the People of the Book who carried so much hatred toward Islam to enter Islam and desert it afterwards.
Allah Almighty ordered the Muslims to kill the pagans who fought against the Muslims. The following Noble Verse talks about all of the enemies who fought the Muslims long and bloody battles:
Let us look at Noble Verse 2:191 "And slay them wherever ye catch them, and turn them out from where they have Turned you out; for tumult and oppression are worse than slaughter; but fight them not at the Sacred Mosque, unless they (first) fight you there; but if they fight you, slay them. Such is the reward of those who suppress faith." The killing of the pagans who fought the Muslims during the time when Islam was not yet complete was essential.
Important Note: Noble Verse 2:191 above is not dedicated to the apostates as some Muslims use it to prove that the Noble Quran orders the killing of apostates. In fact, it doesn't even mention the apostates. It talks in general about slaying the pagans who declare wars on the Muslims. The pagans would obviously include the apostates who deserted Islam, but the Noble Verse certainly doesn't DIRECTLY order the killing of anyone who deserts Islam.
Allah Almighty promised that He will protect the Noble Quran from any corruption:
"We have, without doubt, sent down the Message; and We will assuredly Guard it (from corruption). (The Noble Quran, 15:9)"
"Nay, this is a Glorious Quran, (inscribed) in a Tablet Preserved! (The Noble Quran, 85:21-22)"
Let us look at Noble Verse 5:3 "…..This day those who reject faith given up all hope of your religion: Yet fear them not But fear Me (Allah). This day have I (Allah) perfected your religion for you, completed my favour upon you, and have chosen for you Islam as your (complete) religion….". So long as Islam was not organized, with its own community and its own laws, the unbelievers and the Hypocrites from the People of the Book and the Pagan Arabs had hoped to wean the believers from the new teaching. Now that hope is gone forever with the complete organization of Islam.
Let us look at Noble Verses 15:2-3 "Again and again will those who disbelieve, wish that they had bowed (to God's will) in Islam. Leave them alone, to enjoy (the good things of this life) and to please themselves: let (false) hope amuse them: soon will knowledge (undeceive them)."
Let us look at Noble Verses 10:99-100 "If it had been thy Lord's will, they would all have believed, all who are on earth! wilt thou then compel mankind, against their will, to believe! No soul can believe, except by the will of God, and He will place doubt (or obscurity) on those who will not understand."
Let us look at Noble Verse 18:29 "Say, 'The truth is from your Lord': Let him who will believe, and let him who will, reject (it): for the wrong doers We have prepared a Fire whose (smoke and flames), like the walls and roof of a tent, will hem them in: if they implore relief they will be granted water like melted brass, that will scald their faces, how dreadful the drink! How uncomfortable a couch to recline on!"
Let us look at Noble Verse 27:92 "And to rehearse the Qur'an: and if any accept guidance, they do it for the good of their own souls, and if any stray, say: 'I am only a Warner.'"
Let us look at Noble Verse 10:99 "If it had been thy Lord's will, they would all have believed,- all who are on earth! wilt thou then compel mankind, against their will, to believe!" Allah Almighty doesn't like us to compel people into belief.
"No soul can believe, except by the will of God, and He will place doubt (or obscurity) on those who will not understand. (The Noble Quran, 10:100)" Allah Almighty helps those whom He likes to be guided to His Straight Path. If anyone doesn't believe, or reverts back from Islam, it is then his loss and it is the Will of Allah Almighty.
"Say: 'Behold all that is in the heavens and on earth'; but neither Signs nor Warners profit those who believe not. Do they then expect (any thing) but (what happened in) the days of the men who passed away before them? Say: 'Wait ye then: for I, too, will wait with you.' (The Noble Quran, 10:101-102)" Notice how Allah Almighty orders us to say "Wait" to those who reject Islam. This clearly says that we can't force anyone into Islam, or punish anyone for leaving Islam.
Let us look at Noble Verse 10:108 "Say: 'O ye men! Now Truth hath reached you from your Lord! those who receive guidance, do so for the good of their own souls; those who stray, do so to their own loss: and I am not (set) over you to arrange your affairs.'" Whoever believes benefits his soul and whoever doesn't, harms it, and Prophet Muhammad peace be upon him is not in charge of people to arrange their affairs. Only Allah Almighty is.
"Say: 'Obey Allah, and obey the Messenger: but if ye turn away, he is only responsible for the duty placed on him and ye for that placed on you. If ye obey him, ye shall be on right guidance. The Messenger's duty is only to preach the clear (Message). (The Noble Quran, 24:54)" Prophet Muhammad's duty was only to preach.
"Those who pervert the Truth in Our Signs are not hidden from Us. Which is better? he that is cast into the Fire, or he that comes safe through, on the Day of Judgement? Do what ye will: Verily He seeth (clearly) all that ye do. (The Noble Quran, 41:40)" Here we clearly see Allah Almighty giving a freedom of choice for people to choose or refuse Islam.
"And those who take as protectors others besides Him – Allah doth watch over them; and thou art not the disposer of their affairs. (The Noble Quran, 42:6)" Again, Allah Almighty here told Prophet Muhammad that he has no authority over those who reject Islam.
"It is true thou wilt not be able to guide every one whom thou lovest; but Allah Guides those whom He will and He Knows those who receive guidance. (The Noble Quran, 28:56)" Again, no authority to Prophet Muhammad over those who accept or reject Islam.
Let us look at Noble Verse 2:256 "Let there be no compulsion in religion: Truth stands out clear from error: whoever rejects evil and believes in Allah hath grasped the most trustworthy handhold, that never breaks. And Allah heareth and knoweth all things." The Holy Quran prohibits Muslims to force any person into Islam. Muslims must not let people resent Islam and Muslims. They must leave people decide for themselves because the "Truth stands out clear from error" (2:256).
Compulsion is incompatible with religion: Because (1) religion depends upon faith and will, and these would be meaningless by force; (2) Truth and Error have been so clearly shown up by the mercy of Allah Almighty that there should be no doubt in the minds of any persons of good will as to the fundamentals of faith; (3) Allah Almighty's protection is continuous, and His Plan is always to lead us from the depths of darkness into the clearest light.
The following was sent to me from "Vipor Poison"; may Allah Almighty always be pleased with him:
"I found another verse in the Quran that dealt with apostates. Noble Verse 4:137 "Those who believe, then reject faith, then believe (again) and (again) reject faith, and go on increasing in unbelief,- Allah will not forgive them nor guide them nor guide them on the way."
Notice that the Quran says those who reject faith and then BELIEVE and again DISBELIEVE. if a Muslim rejects faith and is then killed for doing so how will he live to again BELIEVE and then DISBELIEVE. The atmosphere of this verse is that of free will and freedom of choice to everyone. If Allah wanted he would have said something about the punishment, if there was any, of those who reject Islam after accepting it. but Allah takes this to be clearly a private matter between them and Allah.
I found many verses in the Quran that teach us NO PUNISHMENT for an apostate BUT I found no verse that says the contrary.
Here is another verse about the freedom of expression in the Quran. many translators translate this wrongly and kill the meaning of the word making it a bogus and strange statement. Noble Verse 39:18 "Those who listen to the word, then follow the best of it; those are they whom Allah has guided, and those it is who are the men of understanding."
The Quran tells the Muslims to listen to every thing and follow only the best of what is said. it does not tell them to kill people if they say something that is not according to the cultural norm."
As ever you omit verses that contradict your own viewpoint …
9:11-12 (Saheeh Int'l): But if they [non-Muslims] repent, establish prayer, and give zakat [i.e. become Muslims], then they are your brothers in religion; and We detail the verses for a people who know. And if they break their oaths after their treaty [with Allah] and defame your religion, then fight the leaders of disbelief, for indeed, there are no oaths [sacred] to them; [fight them that] they might cease.
COMMENT: Here we have non-Muslims who convert to Islam (only Muslims pay Zakat!) then “break their oaths after their treaty” (which here means deny the Shahada -the oath and their submission to Allah -the treaty) which makes them apostates, the verse is a command to fight the apostates' leaders, though the verse is rather opaque at first sight.
4.89 (Shakir): They [the hypocrites- heretics and/or apostates] desire that you s[Mohammed/Muslims] should disbelieve[takfuroona] as they disbelieved [kafaroo], so that you might be (all) alike; therefore take not from among them friends until they fly (their homes) in Allah's way; but if they turn back, then seize them and kill them wherever you find them, and take not from among them a friend or a helper."
COMMENT: This verse is a command to slay apostates. “fly in the way of Allah” (Arabic: “yuhajiroo fee sabili Allahi”, transliterated: “make Hijra in the way of Allah”) means, interpreting “hijra” in its spiritual sense, to “become Muslim” and thus people who “turn back” are turning back or away from Islam – ie becoming apostate. Some apologists claim this verse refers to people who failed to follow Mohammed to Medina in the Hijra, but the context makes a mock of this, making it plain that the verse refers to people who had apostatised from Islam (or adopted heretical belief, perhaps). Further, the word translated as "disbelieve" is "takfuroona" which means "become Kaffirs" or "practice unbelief" – khufr. For a Muslim (the "you" in the verse) to practice khufr is to make him/her an apostate or "Murtad".
Thus the verse could be rendered as "They desire that you should apostasise as they have apostasised so that you might be (all) alike; therefore take not from among them friends until they become Muslim; but if they turn back to apostasy, then seize them and kill them wherever you find them …
9:73-74: O Prophet! Make jihad against the disbelievers and the hypocrites! Be harsh with them …. They swear by Allah that they said nothing (wrong), yet they did say the word of disbelief, and did disbelieve after their Surrender (to Allah)… If they [both] repent it will be better for them; and if they turn away, Allah will afflict them with a painful doom in the world and the Hereafter, and they have no protecting friend nor helper in the earth.
COMMENT: Note that the "bisbelivers and hypocrites" in these verses said "the word of disbelief" – i.e. became Kaffirs and Murtads by practising Khufr AFTER their "surrender [Islamihim] to Allah." Thus they are those who became Muslim, then apostatised. And how is Mohammed commanded to react to this? With generosity, love and tolerance? Not at all! Mohammed is commanded (and thus Muslims are commanded) to make (sword) jihad against them and to treat them harshly (is death harsh enough, perhaps they should be tortured first?) and it is explicitly stated that they have no "protecting friend or helper on earth" – i.e. there is no retribution (qisas) for them if they are harmed or killed.
33:60-62 (Malik): If the hypocrites, those in whose hearts is malice and the scandal mongers of Medina [lit. “The City”] do not desist; We shall rouse you against them, and their days in the city – as your neighbours – will be numbered. They shall be cursed wherever they are found and they shall be seized and killed mercilessly. This has been the Way of Allah (regarding such people) among those who lived before you, and you will never find any change in the Way of Allah.
Comment: The word “hypocrites” here means apostates and/or heretics and they are to be killed mercilessly wherever they are found (not just in Medina) (See also 8:38-39 & 9:38-39 though the latter reference is obscure). These verses also presage the ethnic cleansing of Medina and, later, the Arabian peninsula. Note also that the phrase " those in whose hearts is malice" is not a limitation but a characterisation. The Koran regards all non-Muslims (including apostates – "Murtads") as also being "Zalimoon" – "wrong doers" who's "wrong doing" is to seek to 'harm' (upset, annoy etc.) the Umma, this is the "malice" spoken of here.
Also neglected the fifty or so verses that say "Obey Allah AND THE PROPHET"…
Thus Muslims are commanded by Allah in the Koran to obey Mohammed.
Thus if Mohammed had said "on fridays all Muslims must hop on their left legs", all Muslims should be pogo-ing about on Fridays (you'd also have very well developed left leg muscles).
Of course, Mohammed said no such thing; but he did say "If anyone changes his religion – kill him."
This can be understood in two ways:
1. If anyone alters Islam by introducing innovation be deserves death – as does someone who omits something from Islam – say obedience to the commands of Mohammed.
2. The biggest "change" that abyone can make to his (or her) religion is to change it completely – i.e. apostatise. Thus Mohammed is also saying "kill the apostate".
The following two sets of Noble Verses were sent to me by brother Rached Blili; may Allah Almighty always be pleased with him.
Let us look at Noble Verses 109:1-6 "Say : O ye that reject Faith! I worship not that which ye worship, Nor will ye worship that which I worship. And I will not worship that which ye have been wont to worship, Nor will ye worship that which I worship. To you be your Way, and to me mine."
Let us look at Noble Verse 42:15 "Now then, for that (reason), call (them to the Faith), and stand steadfast as thou art commanded, nor follow thou their vain desires; but say: 'I believe in the Book which God has sent down; and I am commanded to judge justly between you. God is our Lord and your Lord: for us (is the responsibility for) our deeds, and for you for your deeds. There is no contention between us and you. God will bring us together, and to Him is (our) Final Goal.'"
The Noble Quran in all of the above Noble Verses is crystal clear about providing freedom of religion and choice to all people, Muslims and non-Muslims.

109:1-5 (or 6, depending on translation). this says nothing about apostates from Islam. It merely says – at this early phase of Mo's career that he would keep his faith and that non-Muslims could keep theirs.
Islam has always maintained this posture – for "People of the Book" i.e. Jews and Xtians – provided they accept dhimmitude.
Thus these verses tell us nothing about freedom of religion.
42:15. Again nothing to do with apostates from Islam at all. It is also amongst those verses abrogated by K9:5.

The only way you can 'justify' your claim of "religious freedom" in Islam is by defining "religious freedom" as "freedom to BECOME Muslim" and ignore any part about leaving Islam.
This is, of course, entirely consistent with orthodox interpretations of "religious freedom".

It is very sad news. I don't know why the West doesn't wake up yet now. In the name of multiculturalism, Islam engulfs the whole Europe. Unless the politicians as well as the people do something ASAP, it will create a big problem.
