Whether an Arab Empire gave birth to Islam or Islam gave birth to an Arab Empire is worth pondering. I know for a fact that Arab history is not necessarily what Arabs claim it to be.The "Omar Pact", for example, which is claimed to have been written by the second caliph Omar ibn el Khattab could not have been written by him. The conditions impliied to have existed in Syria at the time of his entry to the Roman Syrian province could not have existed there. It refers to Muslim cemetries, Muslim neighborhoods and Muslim markets in Jerusalem at the time this second Caliph has conquered it.

I've only watched the first one. The argument against islam hasn't been the biggest mover for me so far. What's been the biggest mover for me has been the beauty of the scenery and the sadness of the Arab invasion of Constantinople. I was moved to tears a couple of times. From what I've seen so far, it's been more of an Arab invasion rather than an islamic invasion. I don't have anthything against Arabs. If it was just about Arabs everything would be fine now, but islamic culture has overtaken Arabic culture. I wish Arabs would free themselves from Islam and embrace tolerance and fun and enjoy life.
I'm not sure I can watch it when I think of the unbearable sadness and suffering to so many people. It breaks my heart.

I was not stating facts, I was commenting on the show itself. Arab muslims were interviewed in the show and they seemed to think it all started with them. But as you say, it didn't end with them. It was not genecidal Arabs who invaded Constantiniya, but genecidal Turkish Ottomans. Forgive me for not stating the facts accurately and only naming one group of genecidal people when there were obviously more. How silly of me.
Anyway, the point I was trying to make is that it's possible for cultures who invade other countries to become peaceful when they throw away the ideology that causes them to mistreat others. The German people are the best example of this. They abandoned their own form of facism and went back to their original German culture and have lived as peaceful and tolerant people ever since. It's possible for Arabs, Turks and others to do the same. I'm not saying that islam is the sole or even main cause of the original invasions and the film seems to suggest that it might not have been, but islam appears to be preventing them from embracing tolerance in modern times.

At one point nearer to the end of the second video the narrator talks about the emptiness of the origins of Islam. At another point earlier he states, 'follow the money'. Perhaps there is so much emptiness in the beginnings of Islam because Islam is a vast pit of empty lies designed to give Mohammed (& rulers after him) power, sex, and treasure.
In that Islam has certainly succeeded.
I thought it was a pretty stupid film. The reason Muslims are protesting it because even if questions the truth of Islam, it does not really say much about it, just theories that Mohammed may not have been born in Saudi Arabia. There are many more films that show the evil of Islam, and reveal the life of Mohamed and his idiot followers, but Muslims don't protest those films because they don't actually want anyone to watch this. I hate Islam, and I'm not at all convinced by the conclusions of the film maker. Mohammed is a real person, his life is well documented in the Hadiths. Of course Hadiths not 100% accurate, but I'm sure they won't lie about Mohamed's rapes and murders. One of his "proof" was that there were no coins that had Mohamed's name during Muawiya and Marwan's rule. If he knew anything about them he would understand why. Muawiya's father who is Marwan's grandfather was Abu Sufyan, arch enemy of Mohamed. Aby Sufyan became Muslim one day before Mohamed conquered Mecca. Anyone with a brain could probably expect the conversion was not genuine. Marwan lost a lot of power and his father was humiliated there was no reason he would like Mohamed and same goes for his son Marwan. So even though they say they believed in Islam, they probably hated Mohamed. They hated him so much, they killed his grandsons and put their heads on a pike in front of the city wall. (actually I think they did that to only one grandson.) Even though Marwan and his father were Muslim, they probably did not believe it and that is why they did not have coins with Mohamed's name or force Islam down the necks of the people they ruled.

Never in my life did i ever come across a hadith mentioning Muhammad committing such crimes or committing any evil action, in fact. Would you be able to provide some proof? I'd like to know more about this issue…
