Allah’s “Ambassadors”
There is no Islam and Islam “Lite.” While many Muslims around the world, who live under the threat of death if they ever attempt to convert to another faith, would likely appreciate some peace and quiet for a change, and don’t subscribe to the Qur’an’s teachings of conversion, subjugation or slaying of non-Muslims, polls in the Islamic world and in the West have shown that there are anywhere from 1% to 10% of them who do. That’s roughly 10 million to 100 million. In comparison, the larger estimate of 100 million is equal to that of approximately one-third of the population of the United States, or the entire populations of Great Britain, Australia, and the Netherlands combined.
While there is a difference in attitude between Muslims and Muslim fanatics, Islam is Islam. The words in the Qur’an say what they say, and it’s simply a matter of how far these verses are taken by those who read them, and recite them.
A substantial part of the problem lies squarely with those who, in the mosques and madrassas, freely call for jihad, and those who pose as Islamic civil rights groups, when in fact they have been exposed as being something far less benign.
Despite what groups like the Council on American Islamic Relations (CAIR) may attempt to engrain into the minds of the American and Canadian governments, media, and the general public, Muhammad was a raider and a warlord, not a promoter of peace.
While CAIR has shown itself to be nothing better than a group of agitating Islamists for whom there is no room in our society, the growing dilemma of fanatic Islamic preachers (Imams) who sermonize in mosques situated on American soil should be brought to the forefront and kept in the spotlight, rendering the Imams incapable of scurrying away to safety by using the excuse that their radical statements have been “taken out of context” by all of us. Simply, they, combined with teachers in Islamic schools, also situated in the U.S., are undermining Americans and the American way of life, and are promoting a thought process that is a millennium behind the times.
When suggestions of monitoring mosques or madrassas have been raised, organizations like CAIR have regularly gone on the offensive, crying anti-Muslim bias. Rather than encouraging the cleaning of Islamic houses of worship that they apparently feel they speak for and defend, CAIR has been content to blame everything on “Islamophobia”, “ignorance”, and “bigotry.” Although on the surface this strategy appears to be ridiculous, it has long created a diversion, and has worked as a line of defense by running interference for Islamic extremists who are living in the United States, and preaching 7th century Mohammedanism.
Many Islamic Imams, who are supposed to be considered clergymen, and leaders, could and should be preaching respect and co-existence to their worshippers. They’ve obviously gone completely in the other direction, as they preach their backwardness in mosques and while taking part in public speaking events on college campuses. This is an issue that exists, and is dangerous to ignore, as the “Ambassadors” of Allah continue to disrupt.
So, if we the people seek to crush the Islamic fanaticism that has infiltrated our homeland, where do we locate its source? The following evidence has not been, nor could it possibly be…”taken out of context”:
“We must not forget that Allah’s rules have to be established in all lands…” ~ Imam Muzammil H. Siddiqi, Islamic Society of North America.
“Muslims cannot accept the legitimacy of the secular system in the United States; for it is against the orders and ordainments of Allah . . . the orientation of the Qur’an pushes us in the exact opposite direction as the forces that are at work in the American political spectrum.~ Zaid Shakir, former Muslim chaplain at Yale.
“The first principle is that terrorism, and terrorism alone, is the path to liberation. . . . If what they mean by jihad is terrorism, then we are terrorists.” ~ Imam Fawaz Damra (Convicted of lying about his ties to terrorism /Ohio).
Siraj Wahhaj, Imam at the Masjid Al-Taqwa in Brooklyn, New York, and
(Affiliated with CAIR):
On the U.S.~ In time, this so-called democracy will crumble, and there will be nothing. And the only thing that will remain will be Islam.”On the stoning of women accused of adultery~ If Allah says stone them to death, through the Prophet Muhammad, then you stone them to death, because it’s the obedience of Allah and his messenger – nothing personal.”
“We’re already winning. Things are coming our way.” “Sooner or later, Muslim college students will be the parents of Muslim children. And, they should be militants.” “We’re allowed to fight against oppression. It’s an act of worship. “In America, you’re mostly fighting with your tongue. But you should also learn how to fight with the sword.” ~ Abdel Malik Ali, Imam at the Masjid Al Islam mosque in Oakland, California.
“Now, all our imams, our public speakers, should be concentrating on militarizing the Muslim public. This is not a time to make a speaking issue out of this … Muslims have to familiarize themselves with every means possible … Only carrying arms will do this task. And it’s not going to be someone else who is going to carry arms for you and for me. It is you and me who are going to have to carry these arms.” ~ Mohammed al-Asi, Imam, and former director at the Islamic Education Center located in Potomac, Maryland.
Just a few weeks ago, when asked repeatedly on the 2/8/2007 segment of Fox News Channel’s “Hannity & Colmes” if he considered Hezbollah a terrorist organization, and then asked again on Hannity’s radio show a day later, Imam Husham Al-Husainy of the Karbalaa Islamic Education Center mosque in Dearborn, Michigan, hopped around the question like his beard was on fire, never providing an actual answer.
Near the end of the segment on Hannity’s radio show, Al-Husainy experienced a meltdown, accusing Hannity of being against Muslims, the Qur’an, and Muhammad, and told Hannity that God was going to be angry with him for asking these questions, right before hanging up on him.
Islamic schools in America have proven to be no better, teaching that:
1) It is alright to hurt and steal from non-Muslims.
2) That “the Day of Judgment can’t come until Jesus Christ returns to Earth, breaks the cross and converts everyone to Islam, and until Muslims start attacking Jews.”
3) That all religions are false, except for Islam.
Not long ago, Somali Muslim airport taxi drivers in Minneapolis demonstrated that although a good portion of the Somali community in the U.S. is now living in freedom, and no longer stuck in a third world, war-torn hellhole like Mogadishu, they continue to expect to live under Islamic law, and are refusing to transport passengers thought to be carrying alcoholic beverages.
In Cleveland, Somali Muslim cab drivers, even after being warned ahead of time not to, have left their vehicles while in a restricted area that prohibits the exiting of any vehicles by anyone, in order to lay out their prayer mats and pray. When they were ticketed over their blatant disregard for rules that apply to all, they became upset.
Who is it that feeds these people the notion that their Islamic beliefs override American rules and laws, and that they should attempt to impose those beliefs on American society? Although Islamist organizations claim that Islam and democracy can co-exist, it has become all too apparent that this is not the case.
What’s worse, over the past few years in the United States, some of what we have learned about has included:
Hesham Mohamed Hadayet, armed with a .45, a 9 mm, and a six inch knife, opening fire while standing in line at the El Al Airlines ticket counter at the Los Angeles International Airport, killing a 20 year old female and a 46 year old diamond importer. He also stabbed a security officer in the back, shot a 61 year old female, and pistol whipped another bystander.
The conviction of Ahmed Omar Abu Ali, valedictorian at the Islamic Saudi Academy in Alexandria, Virginia, who joined al Qaida and conspired to assassinate President Bush.
Iranian born and University of North Carolina graduate Mohammed Reza Taheri-azar running an SUV into a crowd of pedestrians at the UNC at Chapel Hill, injuring nine people. What happened? He said that he was “seeking retribution for the treatment of Muslims around the world”, and that he wanted “to spread the will of Allah.”
Ali Warrayat, a Muslim student at Arizona State, with Arabic music blaring through his car speakers and a Qur’an in his trunk, smashing his ride through the doors of an Arizona Home Depot store, driving through the store to the section that stocks the flammable liquids, and setting it on fire. The police reported that he had referred to his religion on several occasions when they interviewed him.
Omeed Aziz Popal, driving an SUV around San Francisco purposely running people over. 14 people were injured at several different locations in the city, and a 54 year old man was run down and killed in Fremont. Afterward, Popal calmly identified himself as a “terrorist.”
Naveed Afzal Haq, who went on a shooting rampage inside the Jewish Federation of Greater Seattle, shooting six unarmed women, and killing one. One of the six women Haq shot was also pregnant. Witnesses stated that Haq advised he was a “Muslim American, angry at Israel.”
Ismail Yassin Mohamed stealing a car in Minneapolis, slamming it into other vehicles, and then stealing a van, continuing his vehicular onslaught. Why? According to Mohamed, “Allah made him do it.”
Sulejmen Talovic, an 18 year old Muslim from Bosnia, with a backpack full of ammunition, went human hunting, shooting 5 people to death and wounding four more at a mall in Salt Lake City, Utah just weeks ago.
Ibrihim Ahmned, a Muslim cab driver in Nashville, Tennessee, after an argument over religion with two of his customers, waited until they paid their cab fare, and then as they walked away, proceeded to use his taxi as a weapon, running them down. One of the customers was hospitalized with serious injuries.
Recently in the Detroit area, a Muslim store owner and his two sons physically attacked a 48 year old African-American man in a parking lot after refusing him service inside their store. This was caught on tape. All three of them together were too weak to take their victim off his feet and to the ground, but they ganged up on him, threw punches at him, and jabbed him with a bat. The father, Massod Dauod, and his two sons, Wyah and Kusay, have been charged with ethnic intimidation and assault.
Are these incidents “isolated”? Or are they a sign of things to come? Is it possible that some, if not all of these Islamist attackers were influenced by their “friendly neighborhood” Imam or Islamic school, or by seeing spokespersons from Muslim organizations play a phony race card on television news programs?
If Muslims are going to take Islamic Imams like the ones referenced earlier in this column at their word, the likelihood of more unprovoked, violent attacks being carried out against unsuspecting Americans escalates.
For the monsters they’ve created with their ongoing rambling of Islamic supremacy, their spoken words of disgust for non-Muslims, their portrayal of false victim hood, and their anti-Western babbling, Imams, madrassas, and Muslim advocacy groups should be held accountable, if not by the public’s elected representatives, then by the public itself.
If government officials, who are elected to represent all of us as Americans, but instead have a more global vision than a national one, continue to allow these types of immigrants and domestic born ideologues into American communities, and if the mainstream media continues to bury stories about cold-hearted Moslems ambushing innocent Americans, then who is left to defend all of us, but us? Tolerance of intolerant people for the sake of not hurting their hypersensitive feelings is cultural suicide.
Although Muslim groups like CAIR publicly grunt and groan about Islam and the Islamic community being scrutinized in this country, their tactics are despicable, and their claims should always be met with skepticism. They want you to look the other way. They want you to accept their filtered version of Muhammad and of Islam, and play a game of guilt in order to try to convince you that you have it all wrong about Islam. Why do you think that is? It’s because of the fact that you don’t have it all wrong about Islam, and unless they persuade you otherwise, their desire for Shari’ah law being established in the United States can never take hold. CAIR staffer’s own public statements substantiate their agenda. They are today’s snake-oil salesmen, and should be deflected at every turn.
Freedom of speech and religion, and equal rights for everyone are part of what makes the West so much more appealing than the Middle East, where these freedoms don’t exist. Nevertheless, religion must jive with the established laws of the land in which it is practiced. Just think of it, the next time one of these devout Mohammedans decides to initiate an individual jihad, it could be you, your spouse, one of your kids, a parent, or one of your friends who ends up being in their path. This proposal is unacceptable.
Note: Many thanks to Debbie Schlussel for her courage and continued hard work, and for exposing the two faces of the dancing Imam, Husham Al-Husainy.
