When the French résistance was fighting the Nazis in 1940, the British and the Americans encouraged them with oratory but withheld any material help. This led the French to say “the British will fight the Nazis to the last drop of French blood.”
I hesitate to encourage the women to resist to the last drop of their blood, but I am dismayed by a number of stylish, well coiffed, décolleté and manicured “feminists” in America, including Iranian expatriates, who urge the courageous women of Iran to continue their bloody struggle against the regime in Iran without naming the real enemy….Sharia. It is like telling them to die in vain.
The poster-boy for the rebellion is Moussavi and he and his “reformist” wife, who dresses in hijab, utter not a single word of opposition to Sharia, the cruel, misogynist Islamic law that oppresses women and reduces them to the status of animal.
The women of Iran were led down this path before by their mothers and grandmothers who encouraged them to overthrow the Shah and plunged that nation into the repressive hell-hole ruled by the Ayatollahs.
Revolution cannot be successful if sacrifice brings more Islamic repression and degradation with another face and a new set of Ayatollahs. Their jail is Islam and changing the warden from one thug to another will not set them free.
Women of Iran:
Freedom is what I see daily in my supermarket…women in saris, in hijab, Orthodox Jewish women in wigs or headscarves, girls in miniskirts, girls with navel rings who live and play and love and pray without fear of “honor killings” or stoning or lashing or rape, or forced marriages even at the pre-puberty age of nine.
Freedom is not just the right to vote for candidates that are both sides of the same coin. It is the right to live without fear that your father or your brothers will murder you for committing adultery or apostasy or a perceived insult to the Prophet. It is the right to read books…porn if you choose….see movies from musicals to erotica….to dance and to kiss in public….to divorce or marry …to drive and to travel and to choose how and when and if you must wear that scarf, all with the protection of the state and not the religious dictates of the state.
You are being compared to the crowds of oppressed people who brought down the Soviet Empire. They named their enemy. It was an evil ideology named Communism. Your enemy is an evil ideology named Sharia, which enables your tormentors.
While Muslim men are permitted to marry outside the faith and have many wives, you are forbidden even innocent and playful flirtation. The Koran in Sura 4:34 tells it:
“Men have superiority over women because God has made the one superior to the other, and because men spend their wealth to maintain them. Good women are obedient. They guard their unseen parts because God has guarded them. As for those among you who fear disobedience, admonish them and send them to beds apart, and beat them.”
Stoning in other cultures has long been abolished, but in Iran and other Sharia compliant countries it is still widely practiced. In Iran, stoning as a punishment was implemented in 1983, when the Islamic Penal Code was ratified. In 2002 Iran's “judiciary” indicated that stoning will no longer be practiced but it continues to this day.
Honor killings are condoned in Iran under Sharia law. Article 220 of the Iran criminal code clearly states: “If a father – or his male ancestors – kill their children, they will not be prosecuted for murder.” For good measure Article 1179 of the Civil Code states “Parents have a right to punish their children within the limits prescribed by law.” And “punish” does not just mean a “time out.”
On June 21, 2009, in the New York Times, Neil Farquhar wrote:
“The opposition leader, Mir Hussein Moussavi, in criticizing the government, demanded the kind of justice promised by the Koran and exhorted his followers to take to their rooftops at night to cry out, “Allahu akbar,” or “God is great.”
In the battle to control Iran’s streets, both the government and the opposition are deploying religious symbols and parables to portray themselves as pursing the ideal of a just Islamic state.… Both sides say they are the true heirs of the revered revolutionary patriarch, Ayatollah Ruhollah Khomeini, in trying to carry out Islamic principles.”
And, who knows better than you how they carry out “Islamic principles.” Protect your children’s’ future.
Women of Iran….grandmothers, mothers and daughters….you have chosen resistance and courage. Throw off your veils and your head coverings…dye your hair green or purple….and break the shackles of Sharia.
Then you will be free to worship and dress as you please. You will be the modern world’s first example of the power of moderates in Islam.

In a nutshell, Muslims and
In a nutshell, Muslims and Leftists and Ignorants are forever trying to excuse Islam.
But if we can look global and choose for good education, rational thinking, true information and much political interest, for enfranchised women (and men) instead of subservient ones, for democratic rules everywhere, then:
Muslims can only excuse Islam by siding with democrats, or remaining totally neutral regarding the issue. But no longer Islam can be excused if it is interpretated as in favor of theocracy, dictatorship, 2nranking, subservient women etc. If it is clearly in favor of that, OK, then we know, but then no longer it can be excused as innocent, neutral and unjustly targeted with hate-speech.

A question to the author, Ruth King. Let us assume that Iranian women protest against the atrocities by discarding the veil or hijab. The Islamic regime will be tough on them. Who is going to help them? I am sure the US will turn a blind eye. Do they have guts to nuke the Mullahs and rescue the people of Iran? What will UN do? A mute spectator and nothing more. Hey, ask US to meddle in the political affairs and topple a nationalist regime to establish a buffoon at the top. They will do it without fail.

Women of Iran should get trained in shooting guns, bomb making and now fight to kill. Unless they kill some tens of thousands of so called basij militia they cant get anything. Mullahs should be targetted and killed in Iran. Like the kurds have dilsha of pkk, they should form a resistance and show the mullahs the women power like 'Joan of Arc'.

This must be a male god. he thinks that men are superior in all field than woman. Didn't he know that there are many job which woman do better than man. Well, what do you expect from a 7th century god.

What is the meaning of obedient here? Obidient to whatever the husband do? Hmmm a male god (with a P) indeed. and what's the matter with "god has guarded them" thing, it's up to the woman to guard or not, if this male god want to guard he should do it by creating additional skin to woman from the beginning.

What are the meaning of the words "fear" and "and" here? just feeling fear of disobedience is enough to admonish them AND send them to beds apart, AND beat them. (admonishing, sending to beds, and beating at the same time)
The many courageous women of
The many courageous women of Iran that oppose the many evils of Islam and its accompanying Shaia law are women truly deserving of our respect and support. What a shame that a minority of Irainians have been duped by Muhammads disgusting cult with its rotten heart of lies and surface skin of flowers. In my opinion any man who continues to support Muhammads Islam knowing what they surely know about it are not worthy of being called men. The tragic story of Iran that is still playing itself out today is fundamentally, at bottom, due to the evils of Islam. The Iranian people are a very special and honourable lot on whole from my experience. I am not an Iranian.
Iranians do not want Islamic theocrasy. No person in their right mind would. Only those full indoctrinated by Muhammads Islam would want that.
There are probably many good people who 'call themselves' Muslims who visits FFI. To be sure many bad 'Muslims' visit here as well. The former likely come here in hopes that they can help themselves and their religion. They may have never been confronted with such information as this before. They must wonder whether Islam actually is flawed. Whether it is fact false. We ex-Muslims know that Islam is a terribly harmful fraud. We have lived lives that many could not begin to imagine. We are honourable people of character. We give some of our own time only because we care. There is no fame or fortune in it, get real. Many of our fellow humanbeings including family and friends are still trapped in this cult of fear. We know that by adding some good and respectable parts to Islam Muhammad was able to gain the loyalty of his followers and use them to achieve his selfish goals. Make no mistake about it Muhammad has betrayed Muslims. He was very astute but completely deranged. Islam in totality is evil incarnate. In truth Muslims have nothing to fear in leaving Islam other than being harmed by their 'fellow Muslims'. Does this not tell them something? Anyway, there is my 2 cents worth that i thought i would share this saturday afternoon before meeting friends for lunch. Peace. Not the 'Islam version" of peace. I mean Peace.

I meant to say - Only those 'fully' indoctrinated by Muhammads Islam would want that (Islamic theocrasy).
It is hilarious though mostly bizarre and disturbing knowing that 'the Islamists' will fail to see that the above post is written by an honest person simply speaking the truth and scramble around trying to 'find lies that they can twist and use'.

In Holland Geert Wilders in
In Holland Geert Wilders in the polls now is the 2nd party.
His party primarily gets votes because of its stance against Islam.
But he gets some 60 % of his votes from men, a voter-survey showed.
Maybe a party like his should try to look global and advocate worldwide women's rights. It seems far-fetched now, as Dutch people primarily think national and secondly religionwise and many see no big threath from the million or so Dutch Muslims. But in my opinion, these are in large part NOT loyal to Holland but to the Ummah and not to be trusted when collectively in a position of power.
But a very effective way of fighting Islam seems to me to promote women's rights internationally. Because my hope is that this will attract a lot of the female votes, even among Muslima's, and especially among ex-Muslima's. Maybe it can become fashionable to endeavour worldwide for women's rights and let oppressed women in the Islamic world hear of it, maybe even offering them refuge. And endeavoring that girls as much as boys get a good education in Islamic countries, like Afghanistan, Iraq. Why not think in terms of gender-division (just for equal rights) instead of only in terms of national or religious division?

- Iranians follow religion from arabs, they worship arabian god,

- Iranians speak arabic when they pray,
- Iranians speak arabic when they greet another (assalammu'alaikum),
- Iranians speak arabic when they are shocked from something (ex. mashaallah),

- Iranians speak arabic when they thank or express grattitude (ex. alhamdullilah)
- Iranians speak arabic when they are about to say/do something (ex. insyaallah).
Above points are just few from what is displayed in their everyday lives i can conclude that iranians are either the slaves of arabs or in love with them.
