The Search for Yaser Abdel Said (part 9)
The Professor looked up from the letter he had been reading. “Well, he’s coming back,” he said.
Joe swabbed idly at the bar. “Who,” he asked, “Piffy?”
“Yep,” said the Professor. “He’s given up. He’s calling it quits.” He was silent for a moment.
“Are you going to tell us what’s in that letter,” asked Cowsnfsky, “or do we have to guess?’
Piffy was Bernard Piffy, also known as Barney Fife, the private-eye the boys at Joe’s Bar and Grille and Gun Club had hired to track down the notorious Yaser Abdel Said, the Dallas taxi-driver who had murdered his daughters, Sarah and Amina Said, in a fit of Islamic rage and had then disappeared without a trace.
Piffy was not what would be called an upscale private detective. He was no Mike Hammer, but he was willing and able. He had trailed Said to England where he had met Asma bint Marwan and after that nothing had gone right. He had been chased out of the Birmingham Central Mosque; Inspector Clouseau—the famous Inspector Clouseau—had trashed his apartment and he had barely avoided being lynched by a mob of irate Muslims for accidentally throwing a shoe at Riyadh ul-Haq. And that had been the start.
The boys at Joe’s Bar and Grille and Gun Club gathered round the Professor as he read from Piffy’s letter:
“I ran into a bar to hide. Ul-Haq’s followers were hot on my heels, thirsting for my blood but Asthma bint Marwan wouldn’t let me hide in her brassiere and Mohammed Atta and that other guy came in. They took me into the alley. They wanted the clippings from the Prophet’s toenails. I didn’t know what they were talking about. The Prophet’s toenails! They must have been mad. They were going to shoot me! Then a big wind came up! It was that crazy Umyar! He was looking for Astham bint Marwan—he’s always looking for Asthma bint Marwan. He chased those two varmints away, then he recognized me as the man that threw the shoe at ul-Haq and did he ever get mad! He has the strength of ten Hulk Hogans! He was squeezing the life out of me. Everything was going black when this little guy, this midget with a whip, this Algernon A. Algernon showed up. He’s no bigger than Opie Taylor was in the third grade. He chased Umyar down the alley like a mouse herding an elephant. Then he got after me! If it hadn’t been for Saint Anthony I would have been one dead private detective.”
“Wait a minute! Wait a minute!” broke in Cowsnofsky. “I can swallow the part about the brassiere. Every red-blooded American boy has had that fantasy. And the midget with the whip and the toenail clippings might be a bit unusual, but, heck, we all watch Family Guy—but St. Anthony? He’s got to be kidding. What would St. Anthony be doing in an alley behind a London bar?”
“St. Anthony?” mused Ranch House. “Ain’t he the patron saint of lost dentures?”
“Please, let the Professor finish,” said Joe.
“There’s not much more,” said the Professor. “Piffy says St. Anthony agreed to help him find Said but Tony—apparently they were on a first name basis—had so many small jobs he never got around to it so Piffy’s coming home. He says we owe him 125 pounds and 10 ounces.”
“Ten ounces?” said Lord Lauderdale. “I thought they went metric?”
“Ten ounces, that’s what it says here.”
“Thank God this is over,” said Joe. “Maybe I can start paying my own bills again.”
Piffy tucked the plane tickets into his shirt pocket. Well, that was that. If was over. All he had to do now was pack his bags and be at the terminal tomorrow. It had been a noble crusade while it lasted but he had bitten off more than he could chew—that was it. It happened to best of them. It happened to Mike Hammer; it happened to Shell Scott; it happened to Nick and Nora Charles. It happened to all of them sooner or later. Of course, Hammer would have tied Umyar into a knot and shoved Algernon A. Algernon’s whip into some place where the sun didn’t shine. But he was Bernard Piffy. So he failed. So what? It wasn’t the end of the world. Columbo didn’t solve every case. Travis McGee, once he ran out of colors, never solved anything. And there were a lot of unsolved cases in Andy's files. Old Ange just didn’t talk about them. No one was perfect. Once he got back to the states he would look around for something. Maybe get a job as a night watchman in a wax museum.
He stopped at a newspaper kiosk to glance at the headlines. Barack Obama delivers third inaugural address! Had he been gone that long? No, it was still 2009. Something was out of whack. Ahmadinejad says there is no significant need for the United States! He scowled. If he could have ten minutes alone with that rascal—just ten minutes.
He was reaching into his pocket for some change when a voice buzzed in his ear.
“Shame on your, Bernard Piffy, shame on you,” it said. “Have you no spine? And consorting with that awful St. Anthony! Do you know how much that hurt me?”
It was Asma bint Marwan. He recognized the voice. But where was she? He made a half turn. An old crone was hovering at his elbow. He scowled. “What do you want?” he said.
“It’s me, bint Marwan,” said the old crone.
Piffy blinked. Good grief! What in the heck had bint Marwan done to herself? She looked like the Wicked Witch of the East, like Rosie O’Donnell at 5 o’clock in the morning, like Janeane Garofalo on Countdown with Keith OLbermann, minus the tattoos, of course. She was positively ugly. Something was dripping from her nose. She had a basket of flowers in one hand and a large shopping bag in the other. Piffy eyed the shopping bag. It was probably her time warp, her escape hatch to the other world, her tunnel into the absurd. He didn’t want to get anywhere near that thing. He preferred the halo or the brassiere. He edged away from her.
“What’s the matter?” said bint Marwan. “Never been this close to a mature lady before?”
Piffy wrinkled his nose. “Mature?” he echoed. “Are you sure you don’t mean ripe? You kind of smell.”
“I have to act the part,” she said. “Umyar has been getting wise.”
“Well, it was nice seeing you again,” said Piffy, “but I’m going back to America.”
“Oh, no, you’re not, “ said bint Marwan. “We made a deal. I’m taking you to Yaser Abdel Said whether you like it or not.”
“I don’t remember making any deal,” said Piffy.
“Well, you did,” she said. “And it has to be consummated or I will lose face.”
“Do you know where to find Said?” challenged Piffy.
“No, but I can ask around. There are a lot of jinn joints in this town. Rick’s…Lazlo’s…somebody must know something.”
“No, thanks,” said Piffy. “I’m going back to the States.”
“Like Hell your are!” said bint Marwan.
She grabbed Piffy by the arm. He tried to pull away. My God, she was strong—she was like a bulldog after raw meat!
It didn’t take him long to realize what she was up to—she was trying to drag him into the shopping bag! Yeah, the shopping bag—her space machine, her time warp! And it was no longer a shopping bag—in the twinkling of an eye it had grown to the size of a duffle bag and was still expanding! Good grief, the thing had landing lights! They were blinking on and off as is the darn thing was getting ready to take off!
The wind came up so suddenly it caught Piffy by surprise. His hat went sailing. A screeching sound filled his ears! His teeth began to vibrate! Oh, no! It could mean only one thing—Umyar! The kiosk collapsed in a shower of wood splinters. Bits and pieces of newspaper filled the air! Like a cat pouncing on ‘uncovered meat,’ Umyar had Piffy by the ankles and was trying to drag him out of bint Marwan’s time warp!
The duffle bag or the shopping bag or whatever it was, was whirling round and round now, faster and faster, picking up speed. The bottom fell out of Piffy’s stomach. Everything had become a blur. Bint Marwan had him by the arm and Umyar had him by the legs! This would never do! Lights were flashing on and off! Shadows were chasing each other across a dread universe! He wasn’t sure but he thought he was losing his pants! Then all of a sudden, he was loose, free of all restraint, and away he went. He shot though the air! He must have sailed at least ten feet! He wound up in the remains of the kiosk. He still had his pants. He had one last glimpse of bint Marwan’s shopping bag disappearing into the land of dungeons and dragons, Umyar’s feet dangling from its orifice like the legs of a frog from the jaws of a python. It was eerie.
He got up, brushed himself off. A crowd had gathered. It was time he removed himself from this crazy land. He found his hat, clamped in on his head and walked away from the kiosk without anyone noticing. He would go back to his apartment, pack up and leave. He would sleep at Heathrow…yeah, or in a gutter; he had had his fill of Merry Olde England. Was in any wonder Tom Paine had given up corsetry for a ticket to America?
Piffy had just finished packing when Inspector Clouseau staggered into the room. Yes, staggered—that was the word. Staggered. One more step and he would have pitched forward on his face. His clothes were in tatters; his hair was a mess, there was a cut on his lip and he was gasping for air like a halibut fresh out of water.
“What are you doing here, Clouseau?” snapped Piffy.
Clouseau stared at the private eye. His eyes were wide with fright. “Who are you?” he said. “Do you live here? Do you own this place? Can I hide here? I will pay you…I will pay you anything you want.”
“Oh, come on, Clouseau,” said Piffy. “Quit with the games! You know dang well who I am. You’ve been shadowing me for two months.”
Clouseau wiped at his bloody lip. “I have? Are you sure? I don’t remember you.” He scratched his head. “Maybe I have. I don’t know what the bastards have been doing with me. I could have. You look familiar. What did you say your name was?” He looked over his shoulder and shuddered. “I know all their secrets,” he said. “By now they must know I have escaped.”
“Escaped?” echoed Piffy. “Escaped from where?”
“I don’t’ know—from somewhere,” said Clouseu. “From…from…” He glanced around the apartment. He sniffled. “I was held prisoner for three years—for three years in a reum far worse than this miserable dump.” He seemed to notice Piffy. “You don’t live here, do you?” He faltered. “I am sorry, I intend you no harm, but now that I have escaped they will have to kill me and because I am about to spill their secret they will have to kill you too.”
“You mean that silly story about clippings from the Prophet’s toenails?” said Piffy.
Clouseau eyed the private eye. “How much do you know about the so-called clippings?” he asked.
Piffy shrugged. “Not much. Some rascal saved a few clippings from the Prophet’s toenails—that’s all. What’s the big deal?”
Clouseau collapsed on the edge of the bed. “Then you don’t know anything at all,” he said sadly. “Nothing at all. And I will be the author of your doom.”
“This is one darn lot of tomfoolery,” said Piffy. He was getting angry. “A toenail clipping is a toenail clipping. It doesn’t matter who it came from.”
“Oh, you poor deluded fool,’ said Clouseau. “They are not toenail clippings. That’s a euphemism. What they are after is far worse.” He paused, looked over his shoulder, took a deep breath. “They are after—“ He paused again to make the sign of the cross. “They are after the fleas from the Prophet’s beard! And those fleas—horror of horrors—are still alive! Still alive, after 1,400 years!” He looked at the floor and his next words were scarcely audible ‘”And they are not from the Prophet’s beard—that is another euphemism! They are from…”
Piffy could not make out the words.
“If they fall into the wrong hands,” groaned Clouseau, “I am doomed and you are doomed! The world is doomed!”

problem with monotheism. *
problem with monotheism.
* The conception of the Divine as an external omnipotent Power who has “created” the world and governs it like an absolute and arbitrary monarch.
* It distinguishes between the “faithful” and the “infidels,” the former to be saved in a single life and the latter to be “eternally barbecued" in hellfire. Thus forcing them into irreconcilable camps, or reconcilable only through mass slaughter or mass conversion.
* They consider God is also separate from his creation and in particular from man, and by giving man one only Son or one last prophet, one Scripture—“only one book in all these ages". Now lets fight. Thus the dogma that God has in effect ended his communication with man for all time to come. Thus creation notions like salvation only through him ; peddling in tickets to heaven, also bribing the gatekeeper with a “confession of faith"
I was very much enjoying this

Islam has done considerable
Islam has done considerable damage to society, but I think due to evil mankind sometime unite. Like earlier Europe used to fight within themselves, but with after raise of evil hitler they have united among themselves. Similary to defeat Islam all mankind will unite and after demise of Islam we will reach en era of true humanism, equality. No one God, no one prophet , no one book for all time to come. Humanity has to self analyze and move forward.
The Qur'an on Jews: The
The Qur'an on Jews: The Qur'an is the only non-Jewish scripture in the world where Jews have been honored and protected in so many places (2:40, 2:47-52, 2:57-58, 5:20, 5:44, 10:47, 10:90-93, 14:6, 17:2-3, 20:47-52, 20:77-80, 44:30-32, 45:16, etc.), good Jews have been praised with respect and they have also been offered salvation if they follow the true teachings of their own scriptures (2:62, 2:121-122, 3:113-115, 3:199, 4:160-162, 5:12, 5:65-66, 5:69, 29:46, etc.).
The Qur'an on Christians: The Qur'an is the only non-Christian scripture in the world where Jesus and Mary have been honored with very high regard (3:42-55, 5:44-46, 5:110, 43:59, Chapter 19 on Mary, etc.), good Christians have been praised with respect and they have also been offered salvation if they follow the true teachings of their own scriptures (2:62, 2:121-122, 3:113-115, 3:199, 5:65-66, 5:69, 5:82, 29:46, etc.).
The Qur'an on Idolaters: Unlike Bible that prescribes death penalty for idolatry and polytheism (Deuteronomy 17:3-5, 13:6-15; 2 Chronicles 15:13; etc.), the Qur'an doesn't have any temporal punishment for the same (22:17, 6:107-8, 22:67-69, 17:84, 49:11, 4:48, etc.).
Women's Rights in Islam The
Women's Rights in Islam
The issue of women in Islam, is topic of great misunderstanding and distortion due partly to a lack of understanding, but also partly due to misbehavior of some Muslims which has been taken to represent the teachings of Islam. We speak here about what Islam teaches, and that is that standard according to which Muslims are to be judged. As such, my basis and source is the Quran--the words of Allah, and the sayings of the Prophet, his deeds and his confirmation. Islamic laws are derived from these sources. To facilitate our discussion we can discuss the position of women from a spiritual, economic, social, and political standpoint.
From the spiritual aspect, there are seven points to remember:
According to the Quran, men and women have the same spirit, there is no superiority in the spiritual sense between men and women. [Noble Quran 4:1, 7:189, 42:11]
The Quran makes it clear that all human beings (and the phraseology doesn't apply to men or women alone, but to both) have what you might call a human:
"When I have fashioned him (in due proportion) and breathed into him of My spirit, fall ye down in obeisance unto him." [Noble Quran 15:29 See also 32:9]
Some of His spirit here means not in the incarnational sense, but the pure, innate spiritual nature that God has endowed her or him with.
The Quran indicates again that one of the most honored positions of human, is that God created the human, and as I referred to Surah 17 earlier, it means both sexes, as His trustee and representative on earth. There are many references in the Quran that reaffirm this.
Nowhere in the Quran do we find any trace of any notion of blaming Eve for the first mistake or for eating from the forbidden tree. Nowhere, even though the Quran speaks about Adam, Eve, and the forbidden tree, but in a totally different spirit. The story is narrated in 7:19-27, and it speaks about both of them doing this, both of them are told that both of them disobeyed, both of them discovered the consequences of their disobedience, both of them seek repentance and both of them are forgiven. Nowhere in the Quran does it say woman is to be blamed for the fall of man. Furthermore, when the Quran speaks about the suffering of women during the period of pregnancy and childbirth, nowhere does it connect it with the concept of original sin, because there is no concept of original sin in Islam. The suffering is presented not as a reason to remind woman of the fall of man, but as a reason to adore and love woman or the mother. In the Quran, especially 31:14, 46:15, it makes it quite clear God has commanded upon mankind to be kind to parents and mentions:
"His mother bore him in difficulty or suffering upon suffering." [Noble Quran 31:14, 46:15]
The Quran makes it clear again to remove any notion of superiority and I refer you again to 49:13. I must caution you that there are some mistaken translations, but if you go to the original Arabic, there is no question of gender being involved.
In terms of moral, spiritual duties, acts of worship, the requirements of men and women are the same, except in some cases when women have certain concessions because of their feminine nature, or their health or the health of their babies.
The Quran explicitly, in more than one verse, 3:195, 4:124, specified that whoever does good deeds, and is a believer and then specifies "male or female" God will give them an abundant reward.
In the area of economic rights, we have to remember that in Europe until the 19th century, women did not have the right to own their own property. When they were married, either it would transfer to the husband or she would not be able to dispense of it without permission of her husband. In Britain, perhaps the first country to give women some property rights, laws were passed in the 1860's known as "Married Women Property Act." More than 1300 years earlier, that right was clearly established in Islamic law.
"Whatever men earn, they have a share of that and whatever women earn, they have a share in that." [Noble Quran 4:32]
Secondly, there is no restriction in Islamic law that says a woman cannot work or have a profession, that her only place is in the home. In fact, by definition, in a truly Islamic society, there must be women physicians, women nurses, women teachers, because it's preferable also to separate teenagers in the volatile years in high school education. And if she chooses to work, or if she's married with the consent of her husband, she's entitled to equal pay, not for equal work, but for work of equal worth.
Thirdly, when it comes to financial security, Islamic law is more tilted in many respects towards women. These are seven examples:
During the period of engagement, a woman is to be on the receiving side of gifts.
At the time of marriage, it is the duty of the husband, not the bride's family. He is supposed to pay for a marital gift. The Quran called it a gift, and it is exclusively the right of the woman. She doesn't have to spend it on the household, she doesn't have to give it to her father or anyone else.
If the woman happened to own any property prior to marriage, she retains that property after marriage. It remains under her control. Also, in most Muslim countries, the woman keeps her own last name, and her own identity.
If the woman has any earnings during her marital life, by way of investments of her property or as a result of work, she doesn't have to spend one penny of that income on the household, it is entirely hers.
The full maintenance and support of a married woman is the entire responsibility of her husband, even though she might be richer than he is. She doesn't have to spend a penny.
At the time of divorce, there are certain guarantees during the waiting period and even beyond for a woman's support.
If the widow or divorcee has children, she's entitled to child support.
In return for these listed securities, it is clear why the Islamic laws pertaining to inheritance give men a higher share. From the social standpoint, as a daughter we find that credit goes to Islam for stopping the barbaric practice of pre-Islamic Arabs of female infanticide. These ignorant people used to bury female daughters alive. The Quran forbade the practice, making it a crime. Surah 81 Additionally, the Quran condemned the chauvinistic attitudes of some people who used to greet the birth of a boy with gladness, but sadness in the case of a girl.
The duty, not the right, the duty of education, as the Prophet said, is a duty on every Muslim, male and female.
As far as treatment of daughters is concerned, Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) said, "Anyone who has two daughters, and did not bury them, did not insult them and brought them up properly, he and I will be like this," holding his two fingers close together. Another version adds, "And also did not favor his sons over daughters." One time the Prophet (peace be upon him) was seated. A companion was sitting with him. The companion's son came. He kissed his son and put him on his lap. Then his daughter came, and he just sat her by his side. The Prophet told the man, "You did not do Justice," meaning he should have treated the daughter equally, kissed her and put her in his lap also. Indeed, whenever the Prophet's daughter Fatimah came to him, in front of everyone, he stood up, kissed her and let her sit in his favorite place where he'd been sitting.
From the marital standpoint, the Quran clearly indicates in Surahs 30:20 and 42:11 that marriage is not just an inevitable evil, marriage is not somebody getting married to his master or slave, but rather to his partner.
"Among His Signs is this, that he created for you mates from among yourselves, that they may dwell in tranquility with them, and He has put love and mercy between your (hearts): Verily in that are signs for those who reflect." [Noble Quran 30:21]
There are numerous verses in the Quran to the same effect.
Secondly, the approval and consent of the girl to marriage is a prerequisite for the validity of marriage in Islam. She has the right to say yes or no.
Husbands' and wives' duties are mutual responsibilities. They might not be identical duties, but the totality of rights and responsibilities are balanced. The Quran says:
"Women have the same rights (in relation to their husbands) as are expected in all decency from them, while men stand a step above them." [Noble Quran 2:228]
This only specifies the degree of responsibility, not privilege, in man's role as provider, protector, maintainer, and leader of the family. The same Surah speaks about divorce, about consultation between husband and wife, even in the case of divorce. When there are family disputes, first the Quran appeals to reason and the consideration of positive aspects of one's spouse:
"Dwell with your wives in kindness for even if you hate them, you might be hating someone in whom God has placed so much good." [Noble Quran 4:19]
If that appeal does not succeed, and problems between the husband and wife continue, there are measures that can be applied. Some of these measures are done privately between husband and wife. Some of them might appear harsh, but there are qualifications to restrict excessive or abusive use of these measures. These measures are considered an attempt to save a marriage rather than break a family apart. If the situation does not improve, even with the limitation and prevention of excesses, the next step is a family council. One arbiter from his family and one from her family should sit together with the couple and try to resolve the problems.
If a divorce becomes necessary, there are many detailed procedures in Islamic law that really knock down the common notion that divorce in Islam is very easy and that it is the sole right of man. It is not the sole right of man alone and neither is it true that all you have to say is: "I divorce you three times," and that's it. Islam also has laws regarding custody of children. I was very surprised to see newspapers making the false claim that in all cases custody goes to the father. Custody involves the interest of the child, and laws often favor the mother of young children.
Polygamy has become so mythical in the minds of many people that they assume being Muslim means having four wives. This is a false notion, of course. A very renowned anthropologist, Edward Westermarck, in his two-volume work, "History of Human Marriage," notes that there has been polygamy in virtually every culture and religion, including Judaism and Christianity. But the point here is not to say, "Why blame Islam?" Actually, Islam is the only religion even among Abrahamic faiths, that specifically limited the practice of polygamy that existed before Islam and established very strict conditions for guidance. The question, "How could any man have two wives? That's terrible!" reflects ethnocentrism. We assume that because we're living in the West and it seems strange, and we assume it must apply to all cultures, all times, under all circumstances. This simply isn't true. Let me give you one current-day example. In the savage attack on Afghanistan, genocide was committed on the Afghani people. It is estimated that 1-1.5 million people lost their lives, a great majority of whom were men of a marriageable age. Now, with a great shortage of men, what will happen to their widows, their orphans and their daughters of marriageable age? Is it better to leave them in a camp, with a handout? Or better a man is willing to take care of his fallen comrade's wife and children?
It is obvious that monogamy is the norm for Muslims. If we assume that having four wives is the norm, then we assume a population of 80% female and 20% male, which is an impossibility on the aggregate level. The only verse in the Quran that speaks about polygamy, speaks about limiting not instituting polygamy. The verse was revealed after the Battle of Uhud in which many Muslims were martyred, leaving behind wives and children in need of support. This verse shows the spirit and reason of the revelation.
The Quran placed obedience to parents immediately after worship of God.
"We commanded mankind to be kind to his parents" [Noble Quran 31:14]
And then speaks of the mother. In a very succinct statement, Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) said, "Paradise is at the feet of mothers." Once a man came to him and asked, "O, Messenger, who among mankind is worthy of my kindness and love?" The Prophet answered, "Your mother." "Who next?" "Your mother." "Who next?" "Your mother." Only after the third time he said, "And your father."
As a sister in faith, in blood, we find the Quran speaks about men and women, that they should cooperate and collaborate in goodness. Surah 9:71 speaks about men and women as supporters and helpers of each other, ordaining the good and forbidding the evil, establishing prayers and doing charity. Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) echoed what the Quran said, "I command you to be kind to women." In one of his last commands in his farewell pilgrimage before his death, he kept repeating, "I command you to be kind and considerate to women." In another hadith, he said, "It is only the generous in character who is good to women, and only the evil one who insults them."
On the question of attire, the Quran and the sayings of the Prophet did not say women must adopt a particular dress of a particular country. It only gives basic boundaries, and for a committed Muslim woman, she doesn't follow this simply because her father or husband tells her, but because Allah already stated that as a requirement in the Quran, and was explained through revelation given to Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) that this was not to restrict woman, but to provide a virtuous society where sexual attraction is not the main obsession of everyone. This forces everyone to respect the woman for what she is as a human being, as an intellectual and a spiritual being, rather than being diverted to her sexuality.
Finally, a few words about political involvement. The verse quoted earlier, Surah 9:71, which speaks about men and women being supporters and helpers of each other was taken by some jurists to mean that it involves also public life. How could they ordain the good and forbid the evil without women being active in the affairs of their society? According to the Quran, I'm not talking about the practices of Muslims, in Surah 60:12, we read about Muslim women making "bayy'ah" to the Prophet. Bayy'ah as an Islamic term is somewhat analogous, to a degree, to what we would call an election, or oath of allegiance. And that was given in his capacity not only as a Prophet, but as a head of state, as he was already the head of state in Medina.
During the rein of 'Umar, women participated in law making. 'Umar made a proposal of a certain regulation concerning marriage. A woman in the mosque stood up and said, "'Umar, you can't do that." 'Umar did not tell her, "Shut up, you are a woman, you have nothing to do with politics, etc." He asked, "Why?" She made her argument on the basis of Quran. In front of everybody, he stood up and said, "The woman is right and 'Umar is wrong," and he withdrew his proposal. That was the spirit in the early days of Islam.
In the most authentic collection of Hadith, Hadith Bukhari, a section is devoted to the participation of women, not only in public affairs, but in the battlefield, too, and not only as logistical support. Women carried arms, and when there was great danger to the Muslims, they volunteered to participate even in the battlefield.
The problems presented here are not the problems of Islam. They are problems of a lack of commitment, lack of application, or misapplication of Islamic teachings by Muslims themselves. The topics I have tried to cover here represent and exemplify the big gap that exists between the true teachings of Islam as derived from its original sources and its projected image in the West and the way some Muslims behave in the disregard of those noble teachings.
There's no question that the Western media has played an important role in perpetuating these misconceptions. But in fairness, we should not blame the media alone. Western culture, in writings about other religions, in particular Islam, have distorted images. From books, novels, even in the academic circle, and sermons from the pulpit in places of worship, these kinds of prejudices are perpetuated.
There are fair and honorable people in the media who are receptive to correction of inaccuracies, and who present the facts, when the facts become manifest, as we have seen in the coverage of the barbaric and cruel treatment of the Palestinians n the Occupied Territories. What I would suggest to the media is instead of depending on the distorted information about Islam, they should keep in touch with educated Muslims, and remember, the U.S. has between 6 and 8 million Muslims. Only through correct representation and open communication with Muslims in America can the media give a fair analysis of current events, given the background of those conflicts, and provide a great service to society.
-Khadiza and another cousin
-Khadiza and another cousin of her were Christians, also mohomet while doing business was in contact with Jews. Thus initially to make convert he told almost same story and glorified jews, christians and tried to impress them, hardly anybody converted, his failure you can say is that he killed 900 innocent hardworking Jews. Why he cant convince them??? Why bloodshed.
-Also mohomet had sex with a jew lady whose father and brother he killed on same day. So cruel????
- He found that Arabs at that time were highly secular and thus used it as a loophole. The arabs got easily fooled and he got sufficient army and then he justified and glorified loot and rape as the tool to further the faith.
- Mohomet was a liar, and never knew that he will die so soon, so while doing sex with a Child ayesha he died as he cant handle the excitation.
- Lo , see in karbala his sins were answered by total elimination of his family.
- Present day muslims , will say and come with various schools of thought etc, just think rationally and declare him to be liar, thug and help first yourself. See your daughter, sister will get married to muslims and the same horror. Ok you will get sex as reward but some other muslim is using your daughter , sister as same. help yoursel kicj out Mohomet.
- The world now knows the muslim problem and in countires like US and UK as the muslim population, mosque increases so the crimes, a huge amount of money which could have been used on good causes is wasted on monitoring the muslims.
- Unfortunately humanity will need min 20- 30 years to decouple from OIL, and can take a firm stand against muslims and banning Islam.
- Muslims use babies, women as human shields, luckily Isreal is there and they have exposed enough of them, palestinians are just plain liars, the arabs in israel has the best quality of life then any muslims in arab world. Any body who calls himself should be only in arabia not outside they should lkeave lebanon, syria, jordon, egypt, isreal.
For world peace. Muslims
For world peace.
Muslims in
1. Western countries convert to christianity.
2. In turkey to buddhism.
3. In lebanon, north africa jordon, syria to christainity,
4. In arab and persia to zorastianism
5. In uzbek, afganistan, pakistan, India, banglaseh, malaysia, indonesia to hinduism.
Lets make world a better place. Make kaaba as college where all good features of faith except Islam be taught.
Mr.JAH is right. He is always
Mr.JAH is right. He is always right. Right about Islam. Right about everything. You win jah jah. You have done your duty well and will be rewarded with extra goodies in paradise. Enjoy.
Of course the Quran and Sunnah create peace and justice in totality. One only need look at the Muslim's and their long, bloodless, successful history to see this.
Mister jah jah bean and his ilk know the truth. Surely they have perfected their self honesty and are going down the right path. In no way are they under the sway of a cult leader named Muhammad and His frightful story about God. These "men" are "wise" and we ought to take their advice and submit. Submit everything. Our minds our hearts our lives, everything.
Thank you jah jah, you are too kind. You enjoy that Salat now brother. I know how sincere it. I know that that allah of yours just loves to hear how great he is.
We all know that GOD is there
We all know that GOD is there and so called heaven and hell is here only, how come a person gets birth in a good family and be healthy, gets no trouble and die a peaceful death. While a child is born in Somalia, Afganistan, Pakistan, bangaldesh, suffers from malnutrition, gets disease and dies due to hunger etc??
God it seems sent some persons like bahullah so that they can keep mohammed name but modify there life , but no.........
Whats the purpose of religion, to make life better, but as a society becomes more Muslim, it becomes poverty, illeteracy etc.
Why cant muslims use birth control and restrict upto 2 children, why cant first allow there children especially girls education till 22 -27 years and then marry them off?
They have no shame in using in-islamic bombs, guns, telephone, internet etc.
Hospital, medicines, Internet, computers, aeroplanes, spacecraft, cars, etc etc are all developed by non-muslims muslim use these, why cant they do family planning and produce 6-20 children on a average and try to outbreed others and create sharia etc.
To JAH's comment " Keep

" Keep dreaming, babe! "
Yes only when man dreamt of reaching the moon we were able to reach there !!
Dreaming of saving humanity is also a reachable goal.......
