PDF versionDelara Darabi was 17 years of age when she confessed to a murder she did not commit. She was trying to protect her boyfriend who committed the murder. Iran is state party to the International Covenant on Civil and Political Rights and the Charter of the Rights of the Child which forbids the execution of those who have committed an offense if they are not eighteen years old. Delara was 17 years old when she was allegedly charged of murder. To the bitter end she maintained her innocence.
Delara was a gifted talent and an artist. In honoring her, FFI is presenting this video showing some of her paintings:

My heart cries for this young girl and her family. But this is the true face of islam. I have many Iranien friends and I have also been there. The first country who will leave islam is Iran The people are sick and tired of islam and their mullahs The only reason they stay in power is that they pay the generals well, and that they use illiterate people in the revolution guard and the religios police. 50% of the population are under 30 and they are not the least muslims in their mind. Nor are the educated part and specially the women. They are so brave, risking their life protesting against discrimination

I do not have words to say anything.My heart is cry for this lovely angel and fill with extreme hate for the Mullahs.I wish I could behead those who are responsible to bring misery in this young girl's life.Thats all I have to say.
