I was precisely thinking about what you have written. I guess it is because of a need to create acceptance and to prove that "i am more muslim than born muslim". but i do at the same time believe that people like Jane will work much more harder to enlighten others about the pedo mo and hate called called islam.

Sometimes it is easy for a convert to come out of islam. It is just a matter of relating. You decided to get in islam to find peace but you didn't get it, you get out! You get in to love and be loved istead you hate or receive hate, you get out!

Another thing many westerners convert to islam is that westerners tend to be naughty and adventurous. They'll feel bored of their ancestral culture and want to try new things and record historical experiences in their memoirs so they'll try buddhism, hinduism, satanism, africanism, and in that trend, islam. All is to get peace and hapiness. Whether they find hapiness in islam (as some do stay) I dont know. What i do really know is that islam is bogus!

I joined this site today( though I had been reading it for some time) and your's was the first post I read. The initial shock, pain will ease (not completely over though) after some time. It is like having been in a total darkness for long when a peron come out into the light it is very painful and sometime a peron starts feeling like going back. But if you keep holding you will start loving it and after some time will feel shocked and amused when you look back. May peace be upon you . ( what an irony, people had been using this phrase for someone who perhaps would be the last peron dead or alive to deserve it.

Either ways Focussed, neo converts are always the biggest missionaries of their new found love, whether they convert in or out of a religion. Once you join a particular group you work hard to be a respected meber of that group.
This is why you will find that ex-Muslims are the biggest critics of Islam, not just because they know Islam first hand but also because they wish to be the part of the "Anti Islam Group". They don't want to be seen with the Islamists in any way what so ever.
In any case, this is human nature, just that islam brings out the worst in Humanity.

I can understand what you are going through. Never the less, you are able to hold your heart and brain intact. You seem to be a very brave courageous woman. Try to remain low profile for now. Don't regret what happened. Look at life a new.

Most important is your Son. Make sure that he doesn't turn into another Monster. I don't know how old he is, but it is good to mold him right from beginning. Protect him from all brainwashing stuff. He is your hope. Invest in him. It is redemption for you. You caused one soul to get into this torment and now it is your job to protect and save him.

For other I would say just don't confront them, but live life in what your heart says is right. May peace return to your heart.

Dear Jane, Doubting the existence of God is no new phenomenon. It has happened in the past,happening in the present & will happen in future. It affects all classes of people, sometime, in one's life. Did you know that after the death of Mother Theresa, her close associate come out with the news that, Mother very much doubted the existence of God.She was said to have bouts of self doubt. Even i had a troubled time when i took to read,hold your breath koran. After a few pages i gave up(thank Allah). Later when i was working as a doctor in Saudi arabia,i felt something was wrong about this religion.You see, they relay live on Tv, the footage from Mecca with English sub-titles,during prayer timings. Talking of halal.I used to hear this discussion between muslims when they have to do an act or eat a new type of food. These muslims love ass holes,it is halal for them. Guys at this moment I am reading at the islamic propaganda website www. islamonline.net and I was just reading at question and answers series. I'm interested at understanding how do muslim apologists succeed at keeping the muslim masses in darkeness.

Here I've just learned one tactic muslim apologists use to answer difficult questions like the existent of God, life after death, etc. Keep in mind that just by reading the quran or hadith one cannot prove the existance of God or life after death, so what do they do? They begin their answers by " All religions have this concept of god or gods......", All religions have some sort of belief of life after death......", and then continue to espouse this introduction with some quranic verses and their pathetic lies.

Notice that the trick of responding to this type of approach insinuate in the minds of muslim questioners the notion that the concepts of god and life after death are universal. Therefore there is no need of specifically proving something that is already widely accepted. In that sense an apologist evade seemingly tough questions. Of course if I was the questioner I would continue to press the apologist to tell me in the light of muhammad relations with allah, how sure was he that there was life after death?

I just socked when i read a news in country like nepal where only 1% are Muslims demanding they need muslims states. How that can be possible where 89% are Hindus, 8% buddist,2% Christians and rest of them are Muslims.

This is what one percent of Muslim population can do, in India Muslim population is 12%, just imagine. Neo converts are always the biggest missionaries of ex-Muslims who are the biggest critics of Islam. I am the biggest herein my environment in Jakarta, Indonesia. However, as I understand that (official) apostasy is punishable with many bad things, I do not officially convert to anything. I am just a moslem on my ID card (Indonesian ID cards depict one's religion). I am practically an agnostic. And I preach agnosticism everywhere. I hate my own (official) religion and the devilish prophet.

It is not just because I know Islam deeply first hand but also because I wish to be the part of the “Hidden-Anti Islam individual”. I don’t want to be seen with the Islamists blatantly. Here in Indonesia, there have been many groups who want to enforce Sharias as Indonesian sole Law. Look Indonesian TVs, there are FPI (Islam Defender's Front), Hizbut Tahrir (I don't know what the hell it means.), Majelis Mujahiddin, and so forth. I think, the world must help Indonesia to avoid Sharia as the state law in any way possible, morally up to financially.

In any case, as this is human nature, that islam brings out the worst in Humanity, meet Indonesian honest people who are trying to stop this evil Islamization process. This beloved Indonesia with its traditional mixture of Hindu, Budhis, and moderate Islam culture is being converted into radical and Jihadis Middleeast type of Islamism. I say that religion used to be a mere culture, which is under conversion into a terrifying 'true religion'.

Ok, I absolutely agree that Islam is bogus, but some of the other things you said, although there is some truth to them, I think you are entirely dismissive of the reasons why people convert to some of these religions...

Don't forget that if you are of European descent, Christianity is not your ancestral religion. Paganism is. The first Christians in Europe were the hippies and the freaks of Greco-Roman society.

The culture that brought us science and philosophy was Pagan. Paganism looks to nature for answers. Christianity (and Judaism and Islam...) all say that the world is evil, and one must look to holy books for answers, even if what the books say don't make sense.

Don't forget science suffered A LOT under Christianity.

Everybody suffered A LOT when Christianity was the totalitarian organization in Europe. Don't forget what Christians did to non-believers. Even Muslims let Jews and Christians live, albeit under dhimmi laws. Still dhimmi is better than being burned at the stake.

If you use technology, believe in science, then you are following Paganism.

Now, as for Hindus and Buddhists...are you aware of the fact that Buddhists and Hindus don't deny Christ? Actually, they consider Jesus as part of the Crew. I have even seen pictures of Jesus and Mary on both Hindu and Buddhist altars.

So, in typical Abrahamic fashion, how can you think that God sent His one and only true message to the Middle East, and everyone else can go to hell? Don't you think if there is a God, He would try to reach as many people as possible? Why would he pick only the Middle East - the site of the most horrific and barbaric people in the world to send out his message. Yecccchhh!!!!

I have only respect and love for Jesus. What he taught was true Dharma- love, compassion, and forgiveness. Why I become a Buddhist was because I already had beliefs that fit Buddhism. What I get from Buddhism is actual methods to help me be a better person.

If Buddhism was only making me worse, believe me I would drop it like a hot potato.

Another difference between Abrahamic faiths and Hindu, Buddhist, Taoist, etc, is that non-Abrahamic faiths recognize the validity of other belief systems, as long as they are ethical (don't kill, steal, etc.) Since there are many different mentalities, and many different cultures, no one belief system is going to work for everyone. Some even say there are as many religions as there are people.

So, isn't that more spiritually mature?

word of advise: Stay inside a closet. Be a closet apostate for awhile. Apostasy is punishable by death.That is Islam. A one way trip.
