Statistical Miracles of the Qur'an
The Miracles of the Quran will never end. There will never be a time where mankind can fully take in the knowledge that is in this holy book. It is a miracle to all mankind, the word of God (Allah S.W.T.). There is no value that one can set to the words of the creator. It is a treasure of which guides those that want to succeed in this life and the hereafter.
I hope that it is clear to the reader that the above quote shows that the authors of this site assume that the Qur’an will always have miracles. It is just that we need to look for them. How nice! It seems that Allah likes to play cat and mouse with humans. When he wants the fun to go to a higher level he plays hide and seek with us. The above quote is, in all honesty, worthless talk. But it does give us a glimpse of how Muslims think. It is not the case that the Qur’an is miraculous. It is not. But rather that they believe it is. Humans just have to “discover” such miracles. Do you get the dogma here? If someone believes unicorns exist as actual biological living beings somewhere in our planet, what evidence can you give him that will make him abandon his belief? There isn’t any. No matter how much area you cover in the land to show that Unicorns do not actually exist, a person who believes they are real will always tell you that they must exist somewhere else. It is a trap. Because of this example I know I can’t win with those Muslims. Even if I show that all of their claims are false, they will still say “even if Ibn Kammuna is correct, and what we thought were miracles are not in fact miracles, there must be some other statistical miracles in the Qur’an”. You see, you can not falsify the claims of those people. They are “zombies in trans” so to speak. Such people are idiots without knowing that they are idiots. In this sense they are “bad idiots”. This is the worst kind. A “good idiot” is different. Such idiot changes his/her mind when contrary evidence is presented. A “bad idiot” is one who is not willing to change his mind no matter what. You see, Abul kasem has shown us a huge number of contradictions in the Qur’an, Mumin Salih has shown us that scientific miracles of the Qur’an are no more than wishful thinking by Martians and Ali Sina has shown us that such claims about the Qur’an are mere lunacy. Yet, those people claim there must be “statistical” miracles in Qur’an. Well, let us see what those distinguished Islamic pundits found in the Qur’an. Here is an example of their “statistical” miracles: Study conducted by Dr. Tariq Al-Suwaidan. A Well known scholar from the Muslim Brotherhood, Ikhwan Al-muslimoon. Islamic Gateway ummah.net brings you a glimpse of this study.Word/Meaning /Number of times Mentioned in the Quran

Al-bahar Sea 32
Al-bar Land 13
If we add up the total words of both “sea” and “land” we get 45. Now if we do a simple calculation:
32/45 X 100% = 71.11111111%
13/45 X 100% = 28.88888888%
Above is what we know today, the percentages of Water (Sea) and Land in the world. Yet another miracle in the Quran.
I would like to draw the reader’s attention that the researcher who conveyed those results is a “Muslim Brotherhood” member. This actually disqualifies him, in my view, as an objective researcher. Those folks have one goal: to Islamize the world by whatever means possible. Yes, those people will lie through their teeth to make the Qur’an look miraculous. I am sure the above researcher looked at a huge list of words in the Qur’an until he ended up with what we see here. The other words he used searching for a “statistical miracle” did not work for him, so he just ignored them, and came up with what we see above. Amazing! In any case, if you are riding a donkey, the Qibla can be anywhere. So, let us ride this donkey and see where that leads us. I do need to caution the reader that this person may have done the search in Arabic. But I will use “Yusuf Ali” translations, and for simplicity, I will tackle only the “Miracles” about “Man” and “Woman” and “Month”. The reason is that those numbers are relatively small, and can be checked fairly quickly. Even if we do the search in English, if there is a “statistical” miracle, our numbers should be very close to what is stated above by this Muslim researcher. One comment before doing my search, please note this researcher used "Man" and "Women": One would expect “Man” and “Woman” instead of “Women”. This is an example of the selectivity that Muslim apologetics do to prove something that is not there. In any case, here are the numbers I got from Yusuf Ali’s translation. I am also using different variations of the word because of the nature of the Arabic language:Man: 226
The man: 167
Men: 498
The Men:451
Woman: 29
The woman: 22
Women: 91
The women: 84
Month: 7
Months: 14
The reader is invited to check my work. Here is the site to do the Qur’anic search: http://www.usc.edu/schools/college/crcc/engagement/resources/texts/muslim/search.html So, if our numbers are not even close to this “scholar’s” claims, how come he “found” the “miracles” and we did not. The answer is really simple: there are no miracles. What this person did was probably do a search in Arabic. Those of us who know Arabic, know that each word in Arabic can take many forms depending on its location in the sentence, its “root” or “origin”, its temporal “tense”..etc. That so-called researcher did some selectivity till he “found” a “Miracle”. I salute him and tell him: Dr. Suwaidan, You are the biggest liar there is. You are a disgrace to any kind of “genuine research”. You see, in real life I am a researcher who uses a lot of statistics and statistical tests and analysis. I take raw data and try to see what it has to offer. I do not try to make the data fit my “scheme” or my “world view”. People like Dr. Tariq Al-Suwaidan, the man who offered us the above “statistical miracles” are no more than a disgrace to science and research and a disgrace to humanity and its endeavor to find the truth about things. What a shame! Deceiving people is just pure evil. Another point I would like to draw the reader’s attention to is that one can find “coincidences”, or, as Islamists claim, “miracles” in any book. Look at the search above. The word “Months” came up 7 times. The word “Month” came up 14 times. The ratio is 2 to 1. Now, in Islam, a testimony of two women in court is worth the testimony of one man; a ratio of 2 to 1. Is this a “statistical” Miracle? Not a chance. Its coincidence. Life is full of such coincidences. One final point I want to mention is this: Dr. Suwaidan’s “miracles” do not withstand critical scrutiny. Just as an example, let us say that the words “Man” and “Women” did in fact appear in the Qur’an 24 times each. Is this a miracle? The answer is simply no. A miracle is a unique event. What if both words appeared 25 times? 26 times? 8 times? I hope the reader can see the trick here. There are no such statistical miracles in the Qur’an. At best, there may be some wording coincidences in the Qur’an. But such coincidences can be in any other book. In fact, if you take any book whatsoever, and have a search engine to search its words, you can rest assured that you’ll find some coincidences, with regard to the number of times a word appears in that book. This is normal. There is nothing miraculous about that. As an example, this article contains the word “will” 12 times, and the word “that” appeared three times as much; 36 times. Is this a miracle? Certainly not. But I bet if something similar appeared in the Qur’an, many Muslims may rejoice in seeing another great Qur’anic miracle that validates the faith.

Actually by reading through
Actually by reading through the minds of some muslims who occasionally post comments here at FFI, it is quite apparent that the idea of an "absolute and one God" who created the whole universe and everything in it is quite appealing to many muslims to such an extent that they will not listen to anything that goes against to their viewpoint. In their views, even though the quran may be contradictory or even though muhammad may be controversial still the idea that "one and only and absolute God" is very reasonable and very appealing to modern day muslims that they are unwilling to look at the bigger world to learn alternative viewpoints. Thus it is quite often to hear them telling of Adam, Noah, Ibrahim and other biblical figures that they were prophets whose main mission was to preach about one God. To them as long as muhammad brought this same idea to Arabia which was pagan at the time, no matter what other people talk of him and no matter what evidence people bring to disqualify him being a prophet of God, muslims are unwilling to compromise this stance.
As a matter of fact most muslims are totally ignorant of the role of the biblical figures like Adam, Ibrahim and Noah. Ever since muhammad told them that the bible is corrupted they are scared of the bible to hell so that they do no want to read it by themselves and keep depending on their apologists and mullahs. First of all, Adam was not a prophet. He was simply the first man. It will be quite illogical of God to send Adam who was himself accused and punished by God for his rebellion. Also Noah and Ibrahim were not prophets in the literal sense of the word. Noah and Ibrahim were just pious men and it was just that God were pleased with them and chose to bless them. I do not see anywhere these people preaching of one God.
Moreover if this message of one God was so crucial that it was very important for each and every person of this word to know about it why is it that God did not choose to send messengers to people of all races and culture? The quran even contradicts itself about this. From the historical reality the only people who were priviledged to have this knowledge about one God and maybe the only true one were the Israelites. Even their scriptures admit in that they were priviledged not because they were so intelligent or righteous or many but simply because God chose to! As for the other races it seems God chose to ignore them and let nature control their lives.
One would ask why, if it is true, that God ignored us gentiles and sidelined us of his knowledge? My guess and this is probably true is that God thought it was not important. I, as a christian, add that the gentiles were not part of God's plan to redeem mankind and therefore thought it was unnecessary or it was yet the time to let us know Him. I even also think that even to know that there is one God is not a neccessary credential for salvation for if you know that there is one God so what? How will that please God if you know that there is one God but not take kafirs as friends. How will that please God if you know that there is one God and kill apostates. How will that please God if you take a 9 year old child for sex. You see my point.
The claims of miracle are
The claims of miracle are foolish and are laughable.
The book was meant to give guideline or was just a work of art.
None is true its just the way the ignorant people are impressed by such things.
Still what impresses me is
Still what impresses me is this. The total number of idiots in the world willing to follow, what the pedophile rapist blabbered 1400 years ago in an ununderstandable, gibberish called arabic is 1 billion! Thats a staggering number any which way you look at.
What impresses me is that there is no dearth of idiots in this world an dthere are plenty amongst the other rleigions willing to believe and convert in to this pedophilic cult. AR Rahman! dilip shekar!
Idiots come in all religions and islam takes the best of idots in to its fold! The evil idiot who does not know that he does not know. Tru moslems
Muhammad claims he performed
Muhammad claims he performed miracles. The eclipes have always been, and we still do have them. How was that a miracle.
It would be a miracles that Aisha little body was able to receive a 54 year old man's penis into her body for sex. Was Muhammad really able to have sex? Was he impotent as none of his young wives got pregnant out of 20. The slave named Mary the Copt slave was the only one and it has been said that she became pregnant by a slave boy.
I think Muhammad made a boo boo. Aisha even scraped semen off his coat.

Hey Raisin Head (I love raisins by the way),
The man had a Libido of 40 hunks. He reminds me of a kind of fish (I can't remember the name). It is a small fish, but when threatens, it puts a huge amount of water inside to look so big. Peace
AMIM have you ever read
AMIM have you ever read QURAN.
Reading Bible or Gita will send you to hell-fire. And you will not get the virgins (girls or boys is a question for you) you are dreaming of.
Its not me the Your Taliban Masters are saying.
Qur’an 9:123 “murder them and treat them harshly”
Qur’an 3.28 Let not the believers take the unbelievers for friends rather than believers; and whoever does this, he shall have nothing of (the guardianship of) Allah, but you should guard yourselves against them, guarding carefully; and Allah makes you cautious of (retribution from) Himself; and to Allah is the eventual coming.
By ‘guarding carefully’, a Muslim should deceive the infidel. Acting as a friend is fine as long as it is to benefit the Muslim and protect Islam.
To add to this very strong
To add to this very strong article, notice this "miracle"
Al-Yahom Day 365
But the followers of Muhammed do not use the solar year of 365 days at all....
Their year lasts 354 days. It is yet another fact showing that the real "miracle" is the rich fantasy of the ones creating them.
I am sure someone will come
I am sure someone will come along and show us that the number 354 is in there too in that dripping book of EVIL
abcdefghijklmnopqrstubw012345

I've given you one more miracle of mine. Take any science discovery, past future event. Any thing in this universe could be given by just rearranging the alphabets mentioned above.
The biggest miracle of the
The biggest miracle of the Quran is that we have Airplanes and still people believe that a great god would need to transport his prophet to heaven on a donkey. I am sure allah must be having a better means of transport. I just hope Muslims don't say, Well this was 1500 years back, lol....

I was puzzled by this exact
I was puzzled by this exact ratio.
Initial concern: Is there an exact ratio - is it not subject to change with seasons, global warming/ice-cap melting, so in general hasn't there been times with higher sea levels (after ice ages, notably), and lower ones?
What sounds reasonable to most thinking people is confirmed by a short google search. "Sea/land ratios are difficult to calculate" - only quranmiracle sites claim there is ONE ratio.
For the above mentioned reasons anyone who buys this is not using common sense, sadly (and yes I know - a prerequisite for believing in human-fabricated documents allegedly representing the word of God, not only talking about Islam and Quran here).
